Click on your icon in the upper right (next to the envelope icon), choose settings, choose profile. Username is the fifth field.

Pretty sure “Whiteclaw Lover” is already taken.
The Iowa ON3 wrestling board is moribund. Suspect that most of the Iowa Rivals wrestling board eventually ends up over there. Occasionally some of their posters venture over to the Penn State Rivals board. One who used to when his screen name was AZ Chief is now a mod on their board (IA Chief).
Now that Oklahoma State is once again on the verge of being a wrestling powerhouse, Wonder if their ON3 site will actually get a message board? Their 247 site has a message board but other than a pinned "off season" thread, wrestling coverage?

“T-Bone” when I posted it. Apparently I’m mcpat no matter what I change my username to in my profile.
Curious. I changed my username just for that post. And this.
It can be done in your profile. I did it and changed to nittinsc2. I posted about that on hvi and here I think. I changed to avoid potential merge problems with reputation etc. since I had the same user name on both sites.

If we share the same username between both sites, is it recommended that we change this one to something different?? I wasn't sure how the merge was gonna effect things.
One more note. If you change your username, all of your old posts under the old username will be changed to the new username.

I've been viewing this board and commenting occasionally since the initial announcement, but typically rely on the other board. However, since that will no longer be an option, I will adapt.
I definitely appreciate Tom’s contributions to this site, and am confident that all who migrate to this site will continue to enjoy our wrestling banter for years to come.
I appreciate the insight, humor, and knowledge that so many of you provide.
I am grateful we will still have a forum for more of this craziness in the future.

Hey man, I just lurk over at Rivals, like your posts. How will I, never mind, I can figure it out when the topic of Iowa happens.
I have three questions for any of you fine people who may know. Since I have the same username for both sites currently, would the prudent thing be to switch my username to avoid any conflicts when HVI closes? Would this site (On3) be the one where I change my username? And finally, will I be able to switch my username back to its original when HVI closes? TIA!
I would make a new name here for now maybe put the old one in ( ) next to it. And after everything is switched over you could stop using the new one .

I always try to assist folks with answers to these type of administrative issues. Alas, no guidance has been provided to us about things like this. You could contact the Support group at the link that @jtothemfp provided in this thread -- perhaps that have more info.
In summary, a lack of response to merger questions by myself, or anybody else at BWI, should not be considered a lack of interest, a lack of concern, or an indifference to trying to help folks. When we get guidance, we'll certainly provide it, but at this point we really don't know what to advise.

Thanks Tom! I look forward to engaging with you here again and I am hopeful most of the regulars from HVI will end up here. I do have one confession I must get off my chest. As I had previously posted over on HVI regarding the switch to On3, "The main difference for me is I won't be able to steal Tom's "Why Social Media is enriching our lives, while it eats away at the fabric of our society" posts and post them here like I found them on my own : ) I guess I am going to have to up my internet-scouring game for relevant wrestling articles." If I were Catholic I might promise to pray some Our Father and Hail Mary prayers, but since I am a "Low Church Protestant" I will just endeavor to be the best poster here I can be and cause you no grief going forward : )
