I know this is for next year, but I have heard several people say we are playing Lord Botertourt as one of our non-district games. Can anybody confirm or deny that?

one of the players told me that lord botertourt was on the schedule, then someone else said thought it was a rumor, so not sure
I have some pretty good hearing aids and I heard they have them next year.
Wow, while I think Riverheads is an excellent team and program....that would be biting off a lot to take on LB. Now in terms of power points it would be a smart move for both; in a normal season they each usually win 8+ games.

I too have heard this rumor but was not going to mention it until it was official. If it is indeed on the schedule, it will be a tall order for the Big Red and although they will still have an amazing team next year with a solid quarterback and a whole stable full of running backs, this one will really tell them what they are made of. As I have always heard, to be the best you have to play the best.
Here is a slice o trivia for you guys. According to my very unofficial records, Riverheads is actually unbeaten against Lord Botetourt. Now of course revenge won't mean much since most of the current players' daddies were not even born yet, but RHS did beat LB 6-0 in 1964 in their one and only meeting.
