RJ last UNC play

Definitely dont want this to be about bashing RJ. He plays hard. And, this is an honest question. What in the world was he doing on D on UNCs last possession. I watched the replay a bunch of times to see how close the put back attempt was. The entire way down the court and for the entire possession, RJ was nowhere near anyone. Like he was playing zone while everyone else was playing man. Little was unguarded the entire time. That is when I noticed RJ. Is it possible that that was by design?
