How many road games we will win in the SEC? Honestly?

What we have left...

8 SEC Home Games
8 SEC Away Games

If we lose every road game in the SEC

That is 11 loses on the season :(

We won't lose every one of them. There will be a game or two where we just make every shot and no amount referees can stop it. Happens every year.

I hope UK steals a couple on the road somewhere because I feel like we're going to lose a couple at home.

Well, I have a feeling we win our home games. So maybe the answer in somewhere in the middle. Maybe we just drop one at home. I will take that.

Realistically it's not crazy to see 8 wins and 8 losses there without even looking at the schedule. Go 9 and 9 in SEC play. We all agreed even the number 1 team in the SEC could have 6 or 7 losses in conference. Flirting with having 8 or 9 wouldn't be that far off. Best you can do is hope for as close to perfect of a record at home as you can and steal a couple wins on the road. With 18 games, if we can win at least 10, I think we still look very good for the SEC tournament and then NCAA. 22-11? Maybe even 23-10? With how loaded the SEC is 23-10 would look way better than you'd expect.

If Kentucky wins out at home, thats 20 wins, and if they get 2 on the road that 22-9. Thats should be the goal

I hope Kentucky can win out at home but it's not going to be easy. Teams aren't scared to play at Rupp anymore.
That’s my overly optimistic take. I don’t see them winning out at home. I think they lose atleast one

That’s about what I predicted when our roster was finalized. I predicted 10 losses but I didn’t have any idea how good the sec would be or that Kerr would get injured. I also thought Jaxon Robinson would be “the man” …..bahahahah

Right now I am sitting at 7-2 at home. 1-8 on the road. 8-10 in the SEC. 19-12 overall in the regular season.

Vanderbilt, Texas, Missouri and then you shock someone on the road you weren’t supposed to beat.

We lost one game last night, not ten. The same team that lost to Georgia also put up 106 against a Florida team that beat Tennessee by thirty last night. I’m a long way from throwing the white flag.

For every home game you lose, you better win 2 road games. That's the formula to finish in the top 4 of the SEC this year.

I don’t see us making the top 4 in the conference. We are too reliant on our offense. When we don’t shoot well, we don’t win.

SEC Road games are tough …
Unranked ARK is a 3.5-point favorite over #23 Ole Miss at home tonight … typical scenario this year in the conference

You could say the same about Alabama to be honest as well. There are no perfect teams in the SEC and I bet Tennessee fans aren’t happy today either

I’d like to see Pope implement the kind of zone Ole Miss plays. A tighter match-up that smothers the ball as it gets closer to the rim … it would be a nice addition to our defensive package.

Anyone who says we only get 0 or 1 road wins is a Sky is Falling, Legion of Doom, UK fan.

This poll seems a bit biased, putting 0 (& not saying "0-1"), but then grouping 4 with 7 or 8 wins.
4 or even 5 is a reasonable thing to achieve, maybe we won't get that many, but it wouldn't be a shock if we do, where as going 8-0 or evne 7-1 on the road would be a shock.

I don't think anyone is a "sky is falling" fan if they say we will only win 0-1 road games. Love what Pope has been doing and think he has overachieved so far after building a team in just a couple of weeks. With that being said, 4-5 wins of the remaining 7 road games seems very far fetched. This team's weaknesses are easily exploitable and many of SEC teams will be able to take advantage.

Sat Jan 11Mississippi St (#14)
Sat Jan 25Vanderbilt
Tue Jan 28Tennessee (#1)
Tue Feb 4Ole Miss (#23)
Sat Feb 15Texas
Sat Feb 22Alabama (#5)
Wed Feb 26Oklahoma (#17)
Sat Mar 8 Missouri

It's really hard for me to see where the road wins are going to come from. Out of the remaining road games, I only see Vandy, Texas and Missouri as potential wins. Even then, those will be incredibly difficult to pull off. I'll be going in with the mindset that we will lose every road game to avoid disappointment and if we win I'll be pleasantly surprised.
