The Obvious but Tgar is opting for Screpesi ‘s just down the street. Total old school craving going on and The Screp still has hard rolls as an option which is a must for travel. They also sell Goods Blue Bag potato chips and the Ham and Cheese on Roll is buttered and Mayoed.
Blood work next Friday, 2 hour run to Screpesi’s, they open at 10:30 am where V & S opens at 11 am. Gotta do what you gotta do.
Scepesi's was gonna be my pick. V&S is not what it used to be. Used to have to pick a number for service. Now, you're likely to be the only customer in the place.
There was a time back in the day when you could go to the NorthEast Taproom, order a slice of the sandwich, a slice of the pizza, and five beers for $ 10.00.

Hard to beat a Screpesi’s Italian with blue Good’s. If you want to try something new, JD’s in Sinking Spring makes a good Italian with sharp provolone and spicy capicola. You can still get your blue Good’s there along with a piece of really good homemade cake.

Jackson House subs are all about that aged provolone. No idea where they get that stuff, but it's out of this world good.
