Miller and Deace were great podcasts. All football. I miss that. Then they both went off the deep end with politics. Just so weird. And scary. It could happen to any of us!

Deace was great at talking sports, then he went far far right with a religious angle and I stopped listening. If I want to hear about religion and politics I will go to church or down to a town hall meeting. It was a shame because Miller and Deace used to put on a good show to listen to.

He was a great listen when he talked sports and made a lot of good points. Miller and Deace was a fantastic listen.

Deace has always been a ****** person. I have a close friend who used to hang out with him through mutual friends when he first moved to Des Moines, and I have some stories I could tell.

Kirk Ferentz should never be compared to Joe Paterno.

Kirk Ferentz is not a racist.

But that jack @$$ does and implies both, writing this:

Ferentz ran a racist program. After an internal report found racial bias, former players felt not enough was done in response to those findings. They spoke out. An external report confirmed the charge. Bullying also was discovered. Student-athletes then added more details and context to the Iowa Football culture. A group of them won a $4 million settlement from the university.

...consider stopping short of calling him a great man, which often gets attached to these achievements even when history says otherwise. A great man doesn’t allow racism in his program or hand out an award [to Chris Doyle] after players are hospitalized.

I quit listening a few years ago and was always the last listen when I was starving for content. It was always a tough listen as he was incredibly disorganized and had his annoying “coffee sip” habit. And he never had any real “news” with usually stale or bad takes.
