I think him moving to the big leagues with his new coach doing it as well is a good move for both of them.

Guy had some skills, just wasn’t mentally or physically ready for a place like UK. Iowa had a player win the Wooden Award four years ago. They aren’t Valpo.

The kid is a good player that we could have used. I think it's likely we ended up with a better option but this kid doesn't suck because he ended up at Iowa.

As an Iowa resident, born and raised, and distant secondary Hawkeye fan (deep paternal Lexington roots) I hope he does well and Iowa can be competitive.
