I thought he died a while ago. RIP, Mr. Mayor

Back in the day, I’m struttin’ through Sin City, cigar in hand, when who do I run into but that pretty-boy Robert Redford, lookin’ slicker’n a greased pig. We get to jawin’ over bourbon, and before you know it, we’re both hammered as a carpenter’s nail, laughin’ like fools in some glitzy casino bar. Redford, smooth as he is, sweet-talks a gaggle of eight fine-lookin’ gals into comin’ back to his fancy hotel suite, and I’m taggin’ along, grinnin’ wider’n a Kentucky sunrise.

Now, son, let me tell you, that night I was ballin’ harder’n my ‘48 Cats! I was rammin’ it down the lane with every gal and bangin’ in the post like a jackhammer. Redford kept up, but my big hairy *** was the star, poundin’ the paint and leavin’ a trail of worn-out smiles. Light my damn cigar—this one’s a scorcher!

Was surprised he only received one AA nomination for acting (The Sting) and did not win. But he was the first rookie director to win AA for best director for Ordinary People, which was an INTENSE movie, also featured Mary Tyler Moore in a fantastic serious role.
