If it’s a TFCC sprain, I didn’t have to get surgery when I did it. Now I played soccer and got to continue playing because I don’t need my hands but he didn’t for sure need surgery

We all appreciate JR coming to be a Wildcat this season, but in no shape or form is he ever sniffing the NBA. Same can be said for 98% of all CBB players though.
I can’t think of any other program that has suffered as many injuries to key players as UK has during that time span. Certainly none of the perennial contenders.

For those commenting on the lack of enthusiasm of the players...and coach...going into this game, they almost surely knew this before anyone. Finding out a teammate is done for good with his college career and all he had riding on it could be a reason for lack of intensity

Whatever measuring stick you use, it should include the hard reality that this team doesn't have a lot of talent. As previously stated, at best this team might have a second round NBA draft pick.
The vultures are out hoping to find a meal. Every chance they get, they come out of the woodworks proclaiming the demise of this team. To those who want to be honest, Pope has done far better with this cast of characters than any other coach in the country could have done.
Definitely his shoulder is an issue, but he's been blowing layups all season.
