It was a guaranteed loss as soon as they didn't score up 10-0. The defense predictably folded in the clutch. Just a pathetic loss.
Purdue is a terrible football team. Top 3-4 players all out and they just beat us with their 3rd qb.

I almost miss the Pelini years where we only got embarrassed once or twice a year. Now we get embarrassed almost every week.
4-8 is worse than 4-5, so no - this is not rock bottom.

it is coaching. Sadly Scott is turning out to be a bad head coach. I hoped for the best but the is the worst I have every seen and that includes past coaches.
First of all congratulations to my wife, a Purdue grad. Now with that said Purdue is Terrible and the Huskers are even worse. From the coaches down to the players there are a lot of dumb people on our sidelines. I don't know about all of you but I am getting tired of saying how embarrassed and disappointed I am after every game. Our quarterback cannot read defenses, run or pass. He zones in on his receivers and he is late getting the ball out. Running Robinson up the middle is only going to get him hurt, but then he isn't even playing in the last series? A Husker LB cannot cover a TE yet the coaches keep putting him in that position to fail. So who's fault is it? The player or the coach? Wisconsin is going to be a long day. Do we get boat raced against them? Hell, we will make Maryland look good and that is hard to do. Then the Iowa will come in and take us down. I am miserable.
Good news is that you have Wisconsin and Iowa at home... Bad news is that you have to play Wisconsin and Iowa! Eek
Frost is proving to not be ready for P5 football. Mismanagement all around. Freshman David Bell spoke on how easy it was to scheme against our red zone defense. That says a lot.

He gets paid way too much to make so many mistakes.
I’m not opposed to blowing it up now over suffering for however many more years before realizing it needs to be blown up.
I’m also ok with giving Frost 1 year to show he can move the program forward, but I’d prefer Chinander be replaced. Doesn’t need to be a perfect season in 2020 but has to show a significant upward trend.

As long as Adrian "Wanna Be" Mahomes is starting and Chinstrap is calling the defense there is no such thing as rock bottom with this team.
I'm not sure there is any such thing as rock bottom for this team. They'd drill under the rock and find a way to fall further.
