Man I never saw the MP vs FH score happening. That blew my mind.
The FH Defense has been stout this year but for some reason we couldn't stop their slow down running game. We do have a couple very key defensive starters out with injuries which didn't help either but we seemed to make no adjustments to stop them either. It was a weird game. 1st Quarter went by fast with no score and they held the ball almost the entire quarter playing a methodical slow running game. Reminded me of old school football from back in the day. Maybe a loss will help the team. I've seen it happen in the past.

Missing Simeon Parker was huge on the D-Line. That’s where they ran most of the night. #11 was a tank!

The offense has got to step it up. If youve been in the crowd this season, you’ve probably heard the new starting QB’s family vouching for him to play. He looked like a deer in headlights. Hopefully an extra week of preparation will help him.

Well he did win that game at Cuthbertson when he came in and he brought us back against Parkwood. Part of the problem was prior to the Cuthbertson game he was hardly getting any snaps in practice at QB. You should share snaps with the backups if you want to have depth at any position.

Carson did the slow running game on JMR last year and it made for an absolutely pitiful game. At halftime you could hear the Cason dads by the concision stand mad and embarrassed. I heard things like “our kids deserve more than this!” It made for an awful game but I heard the game plan was to not get a running clock put on them so I guess it worked.

Is that why y'alls starting QB dipped? QB2's family politicking for him to play?

Coach pulled QB1 against Cuthbertson and Parkwood because he wasn't getting it done. Coach Deese runs the spread but we've had to rely more on the running game this year than we have for the last three seasons. QB1 didn't like it I guess and quit. I know the current QBs parents and it wasn't politicking. Many fans thought a change was needed also.

That’s pretty pathetic if a kid quit on his team in his senior year just because he didn’t like the coaching staff play calling. Especially true when he is supposed to be a big time college recruit with several DI offers. Isn’t that going to mess up his offers at the next level. Can’t imagine a coaching staff wouldn’t communicate to anyone recruiting him that he just quit when he didn’t get his way, or maybe his dad’s way. Sounds like you guys got rid of a cancer. I heard he was an 8th grade repeat kid who had gone to several different high schools without actually moving so maybe some red flags there. My understanding was he was a camp hero getting offers without pads on but looked like a middle school QB when the lights came on and guys were trying to hit him. Well god luck to him I guess, but sounds like an entitled loser who quit on his team and coaches when he didn’t get his way. Shocked he was being viewed as a DI recruit if the story you are telling is accurate.

I heard QB1 was basically a joke when the pads got put on. All hype and fake uncommitable offers arranged thru his QB guru. I mean if any of the”offers” he listed was committable, you’d think he would commit to I don’t know Tenneesee or Pitt….c’mon, who believes those offers were real when he has now quit on his team and coaches in his senior year and still hasn’t committed. Kid threw 0TDs and 4 INTs last year before he conveniently got “hurt” right before he lost the starting job. I understand he lies about his stats from last year and this year online, but the school publishes their stats. Regardless, sounds like it was politics on QB1 side not being backed up by play on the field that led to him quitting. Crazy…or maybe it was just another coincidence that he has a family member get sick after getting pulled twice and right before he gets benched as a senior. I don’t think too many colleges recruit a kid who isn’t the best QB on his HS team. Easy excuse to avoid being embarrassed. Lot of drama for the Forest Hills program.

No politicking that I know of, no, but it got ugly between both families of QB1 and QB2 ,who is now QB1, at Parkwood.

I hope Furr can get better with reps. This team could go far if the QB position improves. It’s the major weak point right now.

Yeah I saw and heard it but that got startred by QB1's father. He didn't like his son being pulled so early. I've never seen a parent act like that and I've been going to FH games a very long time.

Wait the Oxendine kid transferred to Parkwood? Is that even legal to transfer mid year without a legitimate household move? That is some weak stuff if his dad pulled him to a new school because he got benched for sucking. That will play real well at a DI school. Kid has been about himself forever. He left an elite program in SC because they had a kid coming in who was gonna take the starting job. Do colleges really go after kids and families like this who run from competition, put fake stats out there, and lie about whether offers are legit and committable or not? This is crazy as far as drama goes and I can’t imagine a college program wanting it around when his play seems below average and he has been either beaten out or fled competition 3 years in a row. What a joke of a family. The injury last year was fake as he was gonna lose the starting job because of subpar play and then the family sickness this year…it’s too much and so obvious. Can’t believe the league would let him transfer mid year due to lack of ability. FH coaches should have known what kind of character family they were getting when the kid left his SC HS high and dry at the last second after lying to the coaches all summer…claimed that was a move as well…lot of drama from that family and shocked it hasn’t gotten out to coaches everywhere. Can’t imagine the FH coach is happy although he wasn’t a very good player so maybe losing the drama helped. You’d think the story was very different reading the kids twitter page.

No, after the game at Parkwood Furr who was backup is now QB1 is what he was saying. I don't think Oxendine transferred there.
