Rodney Hood improving

I decided to look him up today. He's had a nice March and April, tallying multiple 20 point games and passing the ball well. Former Dukies having success in the League continues.

Yes, really good to see. Mercer notwithstanding, Hood and Parker were one of the more talented 1-2 punches we've ever had here. I think both are going to have very good NBA careers.

Hood and Parker were just incapable of playing Duke defense. That was a huge problem for our wings. Pair that with their bad shooting streaks, and it was bound to burn us. Pair them with some defenders and a 24 sec. shot clock, and they're more effective.

We also didn't have near the level of point guard play or post play we had this year either.

Yeah, I was going to post something about him a few weeks back but we were in the middle of the tournament run and I figured it would go unnoticed....and probably rightfully so at the time.

But Rodney had a great rookie year. He's going to be a nice player in the league for many years. The kind of player who can average mid-teen's, handle the ball and rebound.

if they wouldve played some defense....i wish k wouldve went to zone and the changes that were made this season last season
