They are both open in Atlanta, GA now. I was thinking about getting some BBQ for diner tonight, which one should we order? We usually eat Fox Brothers or Community Q.

They are both from SC, somebody there must have tried them both?

I have only dined at Lewis BBQ in Charleston. It is outstanding. I do want to try RS.

Lewis is quite good but generally a little pricier than others. Try the brisket.
Have not had the pleasure of trying RS.

They are within a mile of each other in chuck town.

Personally, I like the menu and atmosphere better at Rodney Scott. We always get one of the family meals. Baked beans are my favorite.

My son prefers Lewis especially their brisket, while I prefer Rodney Scott pulled pork and their sides which are especially tasty.

Both have gone corporate. Make a trip through Hemingway SC if you are in the Myrtle Beach area to get the real of the Scotts.

I had the brisket at Rodney Scott’s a few months ago. At least 1/3 of it was nothing but fat.
