Last class to graduate from the old school that was located at the corner of Washington and Marion Streets. First Baptist Church bought the property and tore down that majestic old building.

‘63 Shamrock baseball team vs. Carolina High (Greenville) in state championship series. Carolina’s 2 pitchers would both make it to AA with the Braves organization. No big surprise (or shame) that the Shamrocks were not able to scratch a run against either. COE’s bro’-in-law skippered the Carolina team.

Did you know Mark Turner, he may have gone by David? I believe he graduated in 1980 from JL Mann..went to Duke...
Worked in the pack'n shed (Peaches) with me during the summer of 79...Have not heard from him since...Always wondered what happened to him...
And @ 90 he still plays 18 every other day
