Save me the HgH comments until proven guilty, but here is one of if not the greatest QB to ever play the game, who has came back from a career ending beck injury, who everyone said was finished, who everyone said he would never be himself after he returned this year....helping lead his team to the Super Bowl over the Patriots. Not only that, but one of our own, Trevathan, is on the team as well.

Here is to hoping that Peyton caps off the season leading his Broncos to be Super Bowl champions and maybe even an MVP as he rides off into the retirement sunset.

Go Broncos!

Are people really making HGH references? The dude that started that admitted to making it up.

Congrats to the Broncos and old man Manning. What we saw today was the same as what we saw early in the Manning/Brady battles. One QB had the better defense/team, and therefore won the game. Although at this point, the roles have flipped.

My perfect scenario would be to have Manning (and Trevathan) win the SB then substantiate all the rumors and buy into the Titans' ownership.

Umm, actually he didn't. The guy was caught on camera saying it and when he found out he denied it to cover his ***. Notice Peyton never denied his wife getting them. Lol. You people will believe a qb deflated balls when that can be easily be explained by the ideal gas law but refuse that report. I know where I'll keep coming for my laughs.

Payton manning is DEFINITELY not the best quarterback ever.

He's basically in Tebow mode now. Riding the Denver defense to winning.

Yep, Charlie Sly was "caught on camera" saying he worked with Manning. Then when that was released, admitted he made the story up to obtain new clientele.

I hate how we want to roast every sports star in America, just because somebody makes an accusation. Even if Manning used HGH, I literally couldn't care less. Dude had major medical issues, and if it helped him through that, then OK. Have you seen the guy throw or run this year? Whatever he took sure isn't performance enhancing.

He's definitely not the best now. It's been a rough season for him. Have to think the Super Bowl will be his last game.

Tebow mode? Dude threw for the only two scores the Broncos had all day? My Lord I have heard it all now. What Super Bowl quarterbacks have NOT had a great defense? So Russell Wilson doesn't deserve credit from two years ago?

Haters gonna hate I guess haha!

Peyton is the greatest regular season QB ever no doubt but 9 one and dones and he will have another loss in SB . Brady is the GOAT, 22-9 in playoffs , 4 Super Bowls.

Manning 3-2 against Brady in the playoffs. What does that say about Cheater Brady (Peter Brady...get it)? The 4 Super Bowls for the Pats were just as much about Bellichek and the rest of the offense and defense as it was about Brady. Manning holds every statistical record of meaning for a QB and has never (until his Broncos years) had the supporting defense that Brady has had with the Pats during their 4 Super Bowls.

As much as I admire both QBs, Manning has never had the elite owner, elite coach, nor teams that Brady has had. Given a reversal of careers it is entirely possible that it's Manning who has 4 rings to Brady's 1.

As it stands Manning's post season QBR is 85.7 and Brady's is 86.4. So the idea that Manning somehow folds in the playoffs is a joke.

Hope Trevathan wins a SB, and against the cheating Pats if they were playing Iraq I would be rooting for Muhammad. :) Not a big Newton fan with all of the showboating and tearing down signs of opposing teams, and now he has a new commercial for Beats playing off his rep. IMO he acts like a punk. Should be a good game.

Not going to save you the HGH comments, no way in the world someone like Manning who micromanages every aspect of his life didn't know his wife was receiving HGH. McGwire used the same excuse. Panthers secondary are going to have a feast on those lame ducks he's throwing, Panthers by a mile. Also, let's not forget Denver defense before heaping praise.

Manning is past his prime. Nobody will argue that. We will see if he can outsmart the Panthers. The Broncos' D will be needed to keep this game close. I hope the Broncos win whether Manning has a great game or not.

I don't recall Manning saying he didn't know if his wife recorded anything or not. What r said was that his wife's medical condition and treatment was private and he wouldn't mention her treatment...I think. Could be wrong, but the guy had to undergo testing when coming off the disabled list and he passed. Until proven guilty he is innocent.

I think Manning will have to play extremely well to pull this out. Physically he can't sling it anymore and Carolina's defense is too opportunistic to try to win in a shootout. Soon, basically Manning has to play a perfect dink/dunk game and hope that the defense can slow down Cam just enough.

Carolina can just go out there and play. If it's a slow grind, they can do it. If it's a shootout, they can do it. If it's a defensive battle, they can hold their own.

All depends on the hue in your lenses. Either way, he is a great qb with some missed opportunities in the postseason no matter the excuses being conjured. Unfortunately, despite what people think of Cam, he is the best player in the NFL this season on a team that looks to be head and shoulders above everyone else right now.

Not a Broncos fan...definitely not a UT fan...just a fan of great sports play. My lenses are clear lol, but I agree with what you said regarding Cam and the Panthers. He is the engine that drives the train though and I think Von Miller and Co. will have something to say about supposedly getting blown away in two weeks.

Never understand when people use a team's win/loss record, playoff record, Super Bowls, etc. to assess a quarterback. Those are team accomplishments. The QB doesn't run block or pass block, doesn't rush the passer, makes no tackles or interceptions, no kicks or punts, no defensive strategy, etc....The only person who can be assessed based on the wins or playoff record or Super Bowl wins is the head coach.

Peyton Manning has 5 MVP awards. I don't think anyone else has 3. All he can do is play quarterback, and he does that as well or better than anyone who ever lived....

He has had 9 one and dones in the playoffs, his record 13-13 ,1-2 Super Bowl( game losing interception against the saints). That's not folding maybe but that doesn't compare to Brady's playoff record. Brady is 22-9, 4 -2 in Super Bowls and in the two losses he gave his team the lead with less than 4 min on the clock. 10 conference championship games. All which are records. Facts are funny things

I hate UT with a passion, but the Manning family is just pure class. Have always liked Peyton at both the Colts and the Broncos. I would like for him to be able to finish his career winning his second Super Bowl. I just think the Panthers are playing at a level that may be to much for Denver.

I know you weren't meaning to, but thanks for backing up my point. Last time I checked it takes a team to win a game.....let alone coaching and planning. Manning's numbers are similar to Brady's numbers. So, the losses must be coming from another aspect. Perhaps from the lack of personnel, coaching, and front office....which I mentioned in my original post.

Did you know that Manning won a Super Bowl with a team that had the worst rush defense in modern history? that's a fact, too........

Brady plays for the best coach ever, one for whom defense isn't optional. Manning played for Jim Mora (a true HOFer), Tony Dungy (great guy, good coach), Jim Caldwell (mannequin), John Fox and now Gary Kubiak. Dungy was probably enough to be a coordinator for Belichick. The others, not so much.....

Yet these teams that Manning played for always had great stats put up great numbers and won alot of games in the regular season and won with the same bad defenses that you talk about and the majority of those years Manning had better offense weapons than Brady. Manning also played in a Dome not cold weather which was a huge advantage for offense numbers. And before Brady retires he will double Peyton playoff wins. Peyton is a all time great no doubt but really when your look at what matters which a is playoff football and performing in those times Brady is better by alot.
