Taking a knee is degrading to the anthem too but you are ok with that. Statues are history and show how far we have come from that time. Roseanne singing the anthem was worse than Fergie. I'm sure people laughed at Roseanne too.

So, taking a knee SILENTLY in protest is the same as purposely degrading the National Anthem by singing it off key........you are so confused........

I've never cared for her personally. Although I thought the premise of her show in 90s was genius. So far it looks like the new version is doing well. It is funny though to see liberals always attack minorities who are conservative and at the same time attack conservatives who dare disagree with a minority.
I find it funny that conservatives attack minorities for protesting the national anthem and then parade around a woman who sung it purposely for a joke.........
Just watched the first two eps this evening. I was a little skeptical about the show, but the interview she and Goodman had on Howard Stern this week convinced me to watch. Excellent job IMHO. Portrayed what many average families in America face and faced with this election, and probably hits home with many.
It's surprising that it played better in the "red" states than it did the "blue" states, but I guess that shows the deep division in this country.
Now... if I could get a Cheers reunion.... I'd be real happy.

After nearly three decades since its last show, Roseanne opened to an incredible 18.1 million audience average, and 5.1 rating in the key demographic of adults aged 18 to 49.
I loved Cheers but a reunion would just ruin things. What would they do now? The time has passed.
I'm surprised Roseanne is getting such good reviews. Usually comedies from long ago are lousy and today pretty much all comedy that gets political is lousy and Roseanne is both yet the reviews say it doesn't suck. Maybe I'll break down and watch it. Maybe.
He doesn't care anything about Black people...he only uses us to gain support for Democrats. Once we start voting Republican, his true disdain or indifference for us will also emerge just like it has for Roseanne because she supports Trump. He just doesn't know yet how many Blacks support him too.

They are not only funny, but incredibly insightful politically and if Dems were smart they'd be listening to them instead of attacking them. Diamond and Silk are telling Democrats what's coming their way in the Fall when many informed Blacks go to the polls. Negroes with jobs and money don't want or need any handouts...they want more money and better jobs!
