When I posted that I got nothing but crickets. When I speak to people in town there is nothing good to say about this team. Last year everyone was talking about Brevard. Sad for the kids. Like you said always plenty of Tiger Support.
Not sure how we will be this year. If i had to guess i would say 7-4, 3-3. Murphy and Christ school will be tough. Swain and Cherokee slightly favored.
Heard today your stud linebacker got hurt yesterday. Hate that, he's a great athlete.
I've been on ncpreps since 2005. I missed the game last Friday and haven't seen Rosman play so there isn't much info I have that would be relevant pertaining to this game.
As I stated earlier, I could just about count on 1 hand how many Brevard fans have posted through the years, and have to give you and Brevard 95 credit that both of you guys have been loyal Bluedevil fans who have posted through the years....Too bad, there isn't more dedicated fans like you guys and Brevards1 who has also posted from time to time....BD42 used to be a regular, but haven't seen him post anything in quite a while now....Hope he's alright because always enjoyed his post on here and InsideCarolina as he was always a straight shooter when it came to discussing his Bluedevils and Tarheels....
Should be an entertaining game this friday, and hope both teams can finish the game with NO more injuries....

Tough lost. I can say one thing this team fights and never stops till the clock says 0000. Good luck to the Devil's in your season. Hope your fans will come out and support. I remember when I played back in the day, that stadium would be rocking. It's tough when you loose the support of the community. And how about those Tiger fans. Of course we always travel well win or loose we love "our team".
Your right about nothing to do in Rosman but where 10 minutes away from Brevard so what's your point. All I'm saying is the fan base is disappearing. I remember when you couldn't get a seat on a Friday in that stadium. This past Friday I saw a lot of empty spaces on your side.
Also how can you call your school a football powerhouse. That term is only used for teams who win championships year in and year out.Example Shelby, Murphy,Robbinsville. Just to name a few. I hate when Brevard fans start that nonsense.
According to Greatschools.org West Henderson has an enrollment of 1090 students and Brevard of 725 students. Rosman has an enrollment of 356 students as of March 2017. With that being said and assuming a 50/50 ratio of boys to girls (yes, I know girls can play football but, that is a discussion for another time) West Henderson has 545 boys to choose from, Brevard has 362 boys, and Rosman has 178. I really thought that West was/is a better team than Brevard and that Rosman would clean up some things and have a real good chance for the upset. I think Rosman improved fundamentally and showed real grit in the second half. I think as of know, you are comparing apples with oranges, as far as depth. The loss of their H back/ Will backer only exasperated the situation. I realize their conference is one of, if not the best 1a conference in the state, but at least the depth should be similar. They will continue to gel and improve every week.....keep grinding...
We definitely improved. I feel each week we are doing better. Everyone says they have no athletes left. I assure everyone that is not the case. Everyone talked about this team last year that we had to move Jv up to compete. We moved JV kids up because half the team had some type of injury. We have a great QB, who was never given a chance last year, was thrown into a terrible situation. I think these kids can make some noise in conference if we can stay healthy and keep improving and fighting each week.
We are definitely improving! The kids are in good spirits and are extremely eager to learn and get better. We just need stay healthy and we will be alright. I am very proud of this team, players and coaches!
Thanks cougar, I think Madison is a winnable game for the tigers if we play well. If the tigers can clean up the red zone and keep getting better on D we will be ok
Salisbury, it's a pretty long hall for a non conference apponent but hopefully we come out with the W
