We have young receivers and it makes me wonder how well they run their routes. Problem is for me, I don't have the knowledge or eye to tell. Are there any former receivers or coaches that could weigh in an opinion?

The NFL scouts have alluded to Levis not having very good receivers. Sad thing is that this is the best group in Stoops era. Scang has done a terrible job with this offense. Levis stock is dropping really fast.

I really don't know enough about UKs receivers to say. But most fast guys are not good route runners in HS because they use their speed to get open. Our speed guy runs 10.1 when healthy, which isn't often. But he isn't a good route runner. McConkey on the other hand isn't near as fast, but gets open because he gets into and out of his cuts so quick. Not saying fast guys can't be good route runners, the certainly can. But they have to learn.

The receiver group is young. Tone of potential but like most freshman can’t rely on their athletic abilities alone anymore and need to hone in the details of route running.

Needs to improve. Watch Brown, unless he's primary he gets lazy running his routes, not crisp and sharp. Not that unusual with young receivers.

Yep. Can't trust him on any rub routes because he half a$$es it. That caused the UT interception where key got lit up.

I think the inexperience there is definitely something people haven't considered. Key, brown, dingle, kattis. Undoubtedly you have them missing assignments more than we know
