I always knew that Roy was a good outstanding man of faith, and Luke too, but I didn't know it ran this deep. They pray early and often about important matters. In fact they've been praying constantly day and night for Zion.

Oh you know they are! lol Maye guarding Zion is comical. These fools were so lucky in the first game. It's crazy how Maye was able to score so many wide open shots. Zion in the game changes the entire dynamic.
Syracuse and UNC are far and away the two luckiest teams in America. Syracuse didn't have to face a full roster and it's not looking like UNC will either -.-

UNC is very lucky. It's crazy how it seems like they never deal with injuries at the extent Duke does. They dodged a bullet in 2011 with Kyrie, Duke would had smashed those fools with Irving. Same thing with Zion, I think Duke would had beat UNC by 10 at least, hopefully, Duke can get some luck on their side for once.

I mean, we smashed em without him. 75-58:) With Zion, on the road where we always play better, it would be a bonafide blow out.

UNC has had its share of injury-damaged seasons. The loss of Kendall Marshall for the 2012 NCAAT comes to mind - along with extended injuries to Marcus Paige, Tyler Zeller, Ed David, Dexter Strickland, Leslie McDonald....

That said, it's certainly true that the absence of Zion (and Bolden) benefited UNC. With a healthy squad, I suspect Duke wins at least one of those games. Maybe both. Which is not to take away from the solid first and gritty 2nd game that UNC played, but simply to acknowledge that Zion really is that good. DeLaurier had an excellent game last night, so I'm not sure losing Bolden made much difference, but it might have.

Duke with a healthy Zion wins probably both games. No way Luke Maybelline Maye goes for 30 and 15 that first game. We all so his true colors last night when you contest his shots. Maybelline Maye will struggle moreso than last night trying to guard NPOY Zion Williamson.

We've also had more than our share of injuries over the seasons also. This year just seems to be the straw that broke the camel's back in that I believe this would have been a Duke team for the ages. I do think we can agree that injuries suck, no matter what team.

Congrats on the wins, UNC was the better team on both nights. We'll see how the 3rd round goes (if that happens). And if it goes our way, I wonder if many THR fans will acknowledge that we were the better team that night. I can't hold my breath as long as I used to so I'll probably forego that.
