Man, he went after the the crowd. Anyone else see that?

Also, cool gesture with the four courners at the start.

I did see that. Said the fans had no idea about the significance of the four corners, and added that "they were all asleep anyway." Even Roy deserves better than that. He never should have left Kansas, where they have real fans. Maybe a better job will open up for him, especially after UNCheat gets punished severely. Like to see him at State or GA Tech. Keep the rivalry goin' and beat the crap out of Carolina.

My favorite part: "It's not intended to be criticism, but it's criticism".

A true wordsmith, haha.

Roy may be the most under appreciated coach by his fan base. Sice 2003 he's gone to six elite 8's, 3 FF's & 2 titles. Yet, every Heel fan I know wants him to retire.

One guy told me it's time for Hubert to take the reigns. Wow, just wow.

If you've ever been to the DD to watch a game you can see where Roy is coming from. It's funny to bag on Ol' Roy and I enjoy doing it a lot. With that being said, the DD is one of the worst places to watch a bball game for the "environment". I don't blame Roy for calling them out. We've also seen K do it a few times over the years with the crazies. However I've been to many Duke games and the Crazies on their worst day are better than heel fans on their best.

I don't blame him for getting after the crowd. The crowd is your home court advantage. We've seen how much difference it makes when the 'Crazies' are crazy as compared to when they're timid.

How bad their crowd is regularly doesn't matter to Duke because Duke is their once annual boisterous crowd. The rest of the time its wine and cheese, bit Duke doesn't get that.

I agree with you on this Laettner. And I experience their fans talking crap about the guy all the time. Everyone of them want him gone. Not a single one wants him there because, "he doesn't know how to coach." Now look, he definitely padded his win total at Kansas when things were not always as tough in the Big 8 and then when it became the Big 12, not like the last 10-15 years or so. He was there for part of that. But the guy wins consistently every year. They are having a tough year this year, but, they can surprise some people come tourney time. I hope not, but they could. Then everyone will be saying how great he is again until next year.

With all the stuff going on in Chapel Hill what coach do they think would come. They have the best they can get and should feel blessed to have him as their #1 fan and coach. OFC

Don't kid yourself, Sky. There are dozens of guys who would take that job. After all, they would get a free pass for whatever sanctions are handed down (Wasn't on MY watch!) and end up at a true blue blood. Wouldn't you take that chance, if you weren't a Dukie?
