Cats win by 10+.

We avoid bad turnovers, Hilinski shines, our defense regains a semblance of decency, and our seniors secure a season-changing Homecoming victory.

Cats win! Cats win! Cats win!

Wow….Usually the glass is very full with purple Kool-Aid. I am usually the pessimist. But, I will say:

NU 27
Rutgers 20

Game Day - 3 is here. The Cats are back in action on Saturday. I will predict optimistically, but fear it could get ugly. Here's hoping the team made good use of the bye week.

Scarlet 21
Purple 27

We comin!

You went full homer and the team proved you right.

I agree this could be a season-changing win; team just looks a mile better than it has in every other game.

I am no homer. I tell it like it is. That’s why my handle is CatManTrue.

I had a nebulous feeling before MSU. A bad feeling before Duke. And a really bad feeling before Nebraska.

I had a really good feeling before this game, and that leads me to my next prediction:

I have a good feeling about our trip to Ann Arbor. Even if we don’t win, the Cats will compete and keep us proud.

It’s a brand new season, fellas! Turn those frowns upside down.

It is possible that the general anticipation of the Cats getting boatraced by a banged up, 80-somethingth ranked Rutgers offense at home, on homecoming, might have been a slight overreaction to the Nebraska game.

Yes. Our fanbase was negative nabobing so much that I had to zag.

I don't know about boatraced, but I think many of us weren't sure how likely it was that we could get things figured out this fast given the problems we'd seen against Nebraska/Duke/Michigan State.

Hopefully past 2 weeks, JON/Fitz figured something out on how to make the defense work and it carries forward.
