RU vs Penn State 2/6/20 game thread

[ScarletteK80]

7PM at RAC
TV BTN+
Game should in theory be an easy win as PSU has been awful. They are last in conference at 7-15. We escaped with a win by 5 points at their place, and Noga had 8 points in 8 minutes.
Wonder if Alexis can play??

[ScarletteK80]

11-10 RU 3 left in 1st, wake up ladies

[ScarletteK80]

Maori in, boy she is slow.

[ScarletteK80]

14-12 RU end of 1st. This game should not be a struggle. They look like they are half asleep.

[ScarletteK80]

Brogno says RU looks "disjointed" from the field, they shot just 36% from the field

[ScarletteK80]

Boom! 23-12, we have come alive. The color guy was also ripping their effort in the 1st.

[ScarletteK80]

Zippy, and Mack, what a combo, lightening quick.

[ScarletteK80]

27-12 :Rutgers

[oldtimer67]

keep it coming K80

[hoquat63]

29-20 at half

[ScarletteK80]

Tyia looked good in her few minutes, CVS will hopefully give her more minutes. Our D is amazing, our O is depressing.

[hoquat63]

PSU has been playing a lot of zone to force us to take outside shots. Unfortunately scoreboard operator has not been posting good game stats since mid 1st quarter so I’m not sure about any #

[Abro1975]

RU leads 29-20. Should be up by 20 but had a bad last 3 Minutes. KK having a second straigtht horrible game 0-6 w 4 turnovers.

Arella G the star once again with 16 points, 3 rebounds

Wallace w 6 points , T Baby w 5 rebounds.

As a team RU w 19 rebounds to PSU's 10.

[ScarletteK80]

Halftime stats.

[ScarletteK80]

Wonder why Mael has played only 3 minutes? And still no Alexis, and Joyia, sigh. C.Viv was visibly po'd at them a few times.

[DHajekRC84]

Thx for the updates 80.

[ScarletteK80]

31-24, CVS with immediate time out. This is beyond depressing.

[dfr1966]

Alexis and Joiya are both injured and unavailable.

[ScarletteK80]

Brogno said just said that PSU has not won at the RAC since 1997.

[hoquat63]

39-26 4:49 third

[ScarletteK80]

Signs of life, 39-26.

[hoquat63]

Stats finally up on scoreboard. PSU 0-9 from three, but we are only 2-12

[hoquat63]

On a roll 48-26 2;30 third

[ScarletteK80]

Well, now we look super amazing. Zippy looks great, Arella is starting to look like Candace Parker, KK wakes up.

[hoquat63]

52-29 end 3rd

[ScarletteK80]

Mael with a buzzer beater to end the 3rd!

[ScarletteK80]

60-29

[hoquat63]

60-29 6:05 left Aurelian 22

[ScarletteK80]

Tekia is certifiably insane, and I love her getting the crowd involved.

[RUTrack94]

Great to see the Ladies turn it on and double up PSU midway through the 4th!

[RU MAN]

After going up 29-12 and letting them get back in the game at 29-20 at the half, it's nice to see us beat up on a bad team where the entire team contributes. Way to go ladies.

[ScarletteK80]

Intentional foul on Zippy, my arse. Wow haven't seen C.Viv in a refs face like this in a long, long time. Replay clearly shows her going for the ball. Glad we are up by so much.

[hoquat63]

Aurelian our with double double

[ScarletteK80]

72-39 final!!!!!!!!

[RU MAN]

I'm glad to see C Viv. on the officials because the officiating in women's BB SUCKS! Great win. Happy for the ladies.

[Polos13]

Wow...Takia

[Polos13]

Telia...

[ScarletteK80]

T-baby was awesome in so many ways. 11 boards, 7 assists, and Linda Miles-esque

[RUClassof67]

[DHajekRC84]

Crickets.

Crickets what? Stirring the fan pot again? Please relax.

Way to go ladies. Sorry it took so long to say congrats while I was outside trying to get my property settled in the storm were having here in NC.
