Cats tied it on a Reed 2-run HR in the top of the second, and then promptly proceed to allow the Gators to bat around and and put up 4 runs in the bottom half. 6-2.

I know everybody is down on them and rightfully so. But 1 thing they haven’t done is mail in the rest of the season. If this team had quit, then I would be worried. A team that doesn’t quit means they will work hard until the 27th out. A little positivity in a season full of negativity.

Cats offense showing some signs of life. Put up 8 runs in two of the three games in Gainesville. Unfortunately, the pitching staff (aside from ZT) continues to struggle mightily.

Who knows. Based on the current roster and what we could potentially lose my answer to that is no. ZT is gone and hes about it when it comes to the pitching staff. Im not sure there are three guys on the roster right now who would be a SEC staff. I know recruiting is ok but with the draft you just never know.

We have a lot of possibilities with arms that can contribute, but we are going to need a whole lot of stepping up to find ourselves competitive next year.

uk lacks pitching after thompson that simple. hitters can only score so many runs on sec competition.
