That's gonna be a tough one to call. Tossing a guy out who's diving for a fumble will happen. Much like the defensive shifts, you'll see some over-emphasis like on all new rule changes.Glad to see more of a crack down on fake injuries. I'd like to see them go even farther. Make the player have to sit out the entire series, rather than just one play. The rest of the new rules seem reasonable.
The one, though, that I'll be interested in seeing how they legislate is the one that considers a player attempting to recover a turnover as a defenseless player. There are tons of examples of multiple people going for a loose ball, so if a player on one teams accidently goes helmet-to-helmet while also trying to recover the ball, is that player penalized and possibly ejected?
