Most are the rules are designed with safety in mind. The blindside block will be the big one as you can't blow up anyone anymore.

Dead ball only when it comes completely off. Coaches, be sure to instruct your players that it's a live ball if the limb is just hanging there on a strap and is still partially attached!![]()
I always felt face guarding should not be a penalty. Glad to see that change. Now if they want to ask me about any other rule changes feel free to contact me.Face guarding being allowed is a huge change that will help defenses.
We have had multiple Tds called back the last couple of seasons on what is essentially the rule they just put in place on blindside blocks.
