Home games: Robert Morris, St. Jacks, Fairfield, Syracuse, Delaware, Johns Hopkins, Michigan, Penn State.
Away games: Army, Brown, Princeton, Lehigh, Maryland, Ohio State.
Did I miss any games? Is the schedule favorable? No cupcake road games.

It's a great schedule. Very challenging out of conference, and of course, in conference.

$40 season tickets is an absolute steal. This team is experienced, deep, has size, and is fast and talented. They play a very exciting style. Full systems go, all the time. The press out on D and go for broke in the open field. No scoring issues here, with great players at every level. If we can avoid the injury bug, this team has an opportunity to potentially be one of the best we've had. Maybe the best. Real expectations for this squad.

Have they ever been ranked this high. Are they actually good or is lacrosse just not a very deep pool.

They were ranked number 1 for a week last year. Through the years, the program has been this high or higher, but not often.

Lacrosse programs go a solid 20 now. In decades past, number 20 wouldn't be strong competition against number 1. Now it is.

Lacrosse is growing by leaps and bounds at the grass roots and high school level. College isn't nearly keeping pace, but it's growing. Utah just added it as a varsity sport through a massive donation, and word is Uconn is next. There are 6 programs in the B1G and 5 in the acc as an example. Almost the whole Ivy League plays it. Numerous other conferences have a champion.

But to answer your question, yes, that can be that good. If they stay motivated, stay away from serious injuries, and get a few breaks a long the way, there isn't a team in the country can't beat. Not just compete with, but beat.

I'm a total homer, but at #7, I consider that too low. I'd put them in the top 4 with everything they have coming back. The team is a monster, bottom line.

I was hoping for a top 5 ranking to start the season also.

I'm pretty excited. My son started playing for the first time last year (he is 10) and we really enjoyed playing\watching the game. We went to see RU play once last year and it was a blast.

For one of his Christmas gifts we picked up season tickets. For $100 we'll have 8 fun games to watch. That's a pretty good deal.

Just picked up my son a new wand for Christmas. The world has changed since I played, I was choosing between shafts, heads, custom string work.
Back in my day it was - do you want an STX Laser Hiwall or a Brine M1?

The customization is pretty crazy. I just finished stringing 4 sticks this week for kids.

That's awesome. Can't believe season tix are only $40. That's a steal. This team is definitely worth the price of admission. It's probably foreign to some to see how fast, aggressive, and offensive minded a team is playing with Rutgers on it's jersey. There is no other program like this at the school.

Once again, one of our home games is Easter night (BTN slotted game of the week) instead of Saturday before. All three Big Ten home games are on Sunday. I’m a little grumpy about this. It’s not that hard to please the fans. But of course the Big Ten does is again. I hate to be a scrooge about it, but it’s annoying.

Is it easier for high school teams to show up on Saturdays?

I don’t know. I was just looking at it from a fans perspective. If it’s easier for HS player to come on Sundays, then that’s great. I’m just a little puzzled how we got the Home Easter night game again. Kinda bs no?
