ya not sure I get what the major issue is . This is still a sports message board we are talking about and not a breach of National security. If I pay to belong to a certain board ( platinum) in this case I believe any information I get off that I should be able to tell or post it anywhere.

I hope not. I hate Nike. Nike=Phil Knight=Oregon Ducks. Furthermore, I think their stuff is cheap and poorly made. I have Adidas stuff that I have had forever. If Huskers ever go to Nike, I will just start wearing stuff from other brands that are licensed like Champion, Johnny-O and Tommy Bahama when going to Husker games.

He eventually took the video down and said that Rhule called him and asked him to take it down. Well, there's a huge difference between reporting by stealing content from another site and reporting on an internet rumor.

It isn't that complicated. He read the fake info on a paid site, the info was placed there because they suspected this Dillweed or whatever his name is was the one stealing the info. He took the fake news, posted on his X account that his sources have told him that Nike was in town to discuss Nebraska switching to Nike.

They set it up so that only the suspect and moderators could see the bait thread, and moderators chimed in enough to make it seem legit. And he took the bait and published it as his original work for his profit. The fact they went through this much trouble means that it had happened several times.

That’s not admirable behavior and I don’t want to support anybody that operates that way.

I asked you how exactly it was worded and you said you didn't know because it was deleted. Now you're saying he said "that his sources have told him" the information. A lot depends on how all of that was worded, which is why I asked you that.

There are also a lot of little nuances with regard how it was posted and by whom, etc.

Information shared on anonymous message boards, regardless if they're paid or free boards, is generally not considered some kind of protected intellectual property. Or even off limits from normal journalistic integrity.

The site posting the original content might not like that other people are reposting things they've read from their chat rooms. But, that doesn't mean it's wrong.

As I said in my post it’s not like a national security breach of information was leaked.the difference is if I read something on the particular board in question and I post it I don’t that’s an issue. But Wilson Dittman takes this information and posts it as his information and is also profiting from it . I think that’s what the stink is all about.

I'm very selective in what I pass on from this free board to others. I only use insights and inside info I get from either Mr. Bremser or Man, Woman & Child.

I bet those youtube checks of $5-10 really add up.. he probably doesn't even make that! Add in the cost of producing videos, guessing he is losing money and does it just because he's a die hard fan.. But okay.. contrast that with the clowns that actually make money and go off starting other networks, buying them back, and who can't actually field a punt.. well I guess that is okay, since they get special access to the program.

I could care less what he posts . But don’t claim it’s your information when it’s not. Don’t use “ my sources “ when it’s obliviously not. And you have to subscribe to Wilson Dittman sports. . I have no idea what the amount and don’t care I don’t subscribe. Like I said it’s not like he is releasing government secrets or something that’s going to hurt anyone. Just present the information as this is what is being reported. Kind of like reporting the news .
