If that is true, the early line for the JC-MC game is MC -35, and I'm not joking.

I'm with pjjp on this one. Hillmen are going to be way down next year. That matchup would be a year late!

I was really hoping for Joliet Catholic to open weeks 1 and 2 with Joliet Central and a lower tier CPL team next year. Seriously. Some years, like 2015, you want to schedule to get your team ready for the postseason. In 2016 and 2017, we will want to schedule just to get into the postseason.

If it's MC plus another team like Wheaton North in nonconference and then the ESCC slate, it will be a mighty uphill battle just to find 5 wins next season. Wouldn't mind seeing a St. Laurence, Bishop Mac, or Leo type game in the first few weeks next season.

In the end both MC and JC opt to play Morgan Park and Joliet Central.... c'mon - JC and MC will be a slugfest game - granted both teams might be restocking but it'll be great to see a game that should be played annually resurrected. Same with Rice - Marist - no more "safety condition concerns" for the RedHawks when playing at Soldier Field

MC should have about 16 junior starters-no reason to avoid them. Marist Rice would be great to-hopefully they play in 8A this year though first.

Rice and Marist should play every year and happy to see that they will be back at it next year at Soldier Field, this is the type of game kids in that neighborhood want to play in. Way back in the day I want to say the game every year was at Marist even though Rice played their home games at Gately because it was a neighborhood game and tickets were distributed equally for both schools as the game was at Marist.

I get that Marist does not want to play at Rice (Rice's stadium is one of the worst when it comes to seating but I get that their land is limited especially considering the type of crowds they draw for certain rivals..Rita, MC, Providence, etc.) Simple solution is just play at Toyota Park every year, short trip for both schools.

Not when they put the stands in the end zone for big games. Either way soldier field would be the best for the kids each year. Great experience for a high school Player.

i cant imagine sharp would schedule that game. yep, JCA is going to be down next season. they are going to need something week one that gets them off to a clean start. Just the way things line up, that is not a good match up....at all. Our roster will be 4a ish next season as far as depth.
