Improve his draft position? He’s not coming back to show he’s a better blocker.
Then why is he coming back? Is he not NFL ready?![]()
Nicholas Singleton Running Back Penn State | NFL Draft Profile & Scouting Report
Rating: 83.5 Rank: #13 Forty: 4.39 Singleton projects as a potential three-down back in the NFL, with the skill set to contribute immediately in a committee role. His blend of vision, power,...www.nfldraftbuzz.com
Here’s his draft evaluation. It does give it lower rating for pass blocking but then again in the description it listed as a strength. You look at his run blocking and he’s ranked in the top 10 out of a eligible running backs so I don’t think he’s as bad as you’re claiming or as good as the other poster is claiming .
38th percentile? Strength? Intersting![]()

And my primary point is that he did not turn out anything near #1 back. Does not mean he was “bad”. And maybe he will get better and improve his standing.38th percentile? Strength? Intersting
Yeah, but the difference is the rest of PA gets better. Ohio…not so much. And PA FWIW. I grew up in NE Ohio close to the PA border. No difference between NE Ohio and NW PA.
No one is irreplaceable, doesn't mean you get someone his equal, it is a big loss until proven otherwise. We shall see. Seider was very good, again not irreplaceable.
Correct, Franklin has a list he updates every year. No doubt the new coach will be a recruiter.Word on the street is this has been in the works for some time and appears family plays a role in it. CJF will find a great replacement.
Better be, can't have the RB room turn into the WR room.Correct, Franklin has a list he updates every year. No doubt the new coach will be a recruiter.
College nostalgia for this board aside, State College doesn’t have a lot to offer a family that’s lived in bigger metro areas. And having grown up in State College, I imagine it has even less to offer a family of color.
My wife is a PSU grad like me, but she’d never remotely consider living there. For an up and coming coach, PSU offers a great resume builder, but nobody should fault the family for moving on after a few years.
This is the game. It’s good to see Franklin and PSU embracing it. They’ll find a great replacement.

I grew up in PA. Moved to Los Angeles. Lived in Boston. Now live in Carmel Indiana. Carmel is 10000% the best place I have ever lived. I dreaded moving here because I thought the same thing that you wrote. Great people. Amazing infrastructure. Top notch public and private schools. Good food. But to keep all of this up we do need everyone else to believe it sucks. So do not let me change your mind. But ND is in Indiana- who wants to live there?
Not much diversity there. That is why the schools are still good. Probably no low income housing either.I grew up in PA. Moved to Los Angeles. Lived in Boston. Now live in Carmel Indiana. ok, why is the statement correct ??? what is YOUR reason why the location is nice ??oKKK then
I see nothing "nice" about the statementok, why is the statement correct ??? what is YOUR reason why the location is nice ??
Carmel high school has 5200 students 9-12. It has students from all backgrounds but, like most places, whites are majority. Like most towns it has nice parts and some not as nice parts. In general the north side of Indianapolis has $$$. Again I don’t agree with the assessment but I could see how you could think that.ok, why is the statement correct ??? what is YOUR reason why the location is nice ??
Here are some awards for Carmel in 2024I see nothing "nice" about the statement

Big whoop. It is like many other areas in any state. If you can afford to live there, you can. If you can’t, you don’t.![]()

REally not that much diversity.
I do not walk around judging the world based on skin color or by how much money someone has. If it’s not diverse enough for you then find somewhere that meets your expectations. You sound like a lot of fun so anywhere would be lucky to have you.![]()

we deserve better- we just don't know whoUnless there is an unforeseen bump in the road....Stan is the man! 2 natties as a RB coach....NFL and HC experience. Knows his way around the SEC and the Big 10. Could actually be an upgrade. What do we think BWICAC?I know fanboys got all moist between the legs over DM, but great players aren't necessarily great coaches.

I agree, scoured the net, couldn't find anything beyond the posted link concerning salary. Stan is a great hire considering the circumstances with time before spring training.1-year contract supposedly. I would doubt that salary, but who knows these days?
I really have no opinion about it other than curiosity. Why just a 1 yr contract?1-year contract supposedly. I would doubt that salary, but who knows these days?

Not sure, they didn’t call me during negations.I really have no opinion about it other than curiosity. Why just a 1 yr contract?
I don't believe it is, but it's the legal language being worked out is what it sounds like. Does it really matter anymore with assistant coaches?I really have no opinion about it other than curiosity. Why just a 1 yr contract?
