Dom might be the best walk on possible. Nice pick.
I’ve got one that might be better if it’s allowed. I’ll take Heshimu Evans as my last pick. And if you recall, Marquis Estill walked on for a year to make room for another scholarship. I’ll let the group decide if that’s allowed 😁 if not, I’ll take Matt Heissenbuttel just because I always liked his name.

@Son_Of_Saul is up unless @RunninRichie gets here first

I need an elite perimeter defender.

This guy is 6'4" and does what Liggins does, only without the visual antics.

Averaged 12ppg, 4rpg, 4apg, and had a 2 to 1 assist to turnover ratio.

Shot 35% from three, 45% from the floor, and 76% from the line.

I almost took Dale Brown with this pick, but Brown's overall field goal percentage during his two seasons at UK was less than 38%. Plus, Wallace does Brown does best - play defense - only Wallace is better at that, too.

I needed a guy to stop dribble penetration, and now I've got him.

Give me Cason Wallace.

Also, I'll take Jarrod Polson as my walk on.

@Cowtown Cat , OTC.

Did Estill start his career aa a Walk on? Or did he give his scholly to someone else after his freshman year?

I went and put Heissenbuttel but would like to see if anyone else objects to it.

I think a big key to winning a contest like this is acquiring as many players as possible who can excel on defense and offense.

I feel like I locked up quite a few of those guys: PJ, Cousins, Wallace, Johnson, and Hanson. If I need a stop, those are the five guys I'm rolling with.

Would have loved to have drafted Liggins as well, but I got a guy like him in Wallace.

@Cowtown Cat , you're up to bat, brother.

No, He started with a scholarship. You had said “Walk on rules they just had to of been a walk on at some point,” but I know typically that some point would’ve been at the beginning before they developed. So again, by the strictest interpretation, Estill would count. But if that wasn’t your intention, I wasn’t going to belabor the point.

I almost picked him but I felt it would be disrespectful to not draft a dude who was a beast and played here 3 years.

My walk on was picked because he helped get us out of probation and scored 350 career points which is a ton for a walk on.

I think Fox, Crawford, Prince, Hayes, and Bam are a very formidable defensive unit too.

I think @Son_Of_Saul may be my replacement. Really showed up this draft with the updates.

I'm serious if you want to take over and run these things more often than me... I'm okay with it.

Only request I have is that I'm an automatic entry you can't start it without me ;)

I couldn't do it. This is your baby. You're the OG of this thing. I don't mind helping but I really feel like the traditionalist in me would be against taking these drafts over. I do have an idea for a draft on the paddock that doesn't involve sports, however.

Finally got some Love - appreciate it.
I haven't hinted at teams I've liked (occasionally a pick), but just when I think I like someone's team they pick a couple I'm meh about and someone else grabs a difference maker IMO. 10 good teams.

I’ll take a guy that I know I can rely on for a game winning outside shot if I need one. A guy that is a hell of a defender and just a solid all around player. Give me Aaron “Big Balls” Harrison. Also, my walk on I’ll take Todd Svoboda.

I damn near pulled the trigger on Evans with my 7-9 picks. Wanted to really badly lol I just felt as if there were better options still available.

That was fun. Now that it is over I'll add a couple of things. I had already thought before you included the 11th round that if I was in the draft for my 10th pick....Chris Gettlefinger (the red headed walk-on from the 78' team). The trash talking would have started with that pick....since my other 9 picks had this wrapped up I need a "light the cigar" player.

I know this guy is controversial but man I would have had to pick Chris Mills if I was needing a forward. He had an awesome freshman season here before everything blew up. Check him out if you're too young to know. 1988ish.

Checked him out through the process. I decided to go with guys who could offer a veteran presence for a one game/series playoff. Murray being one of the exceptions as I think he compliments the rest, well.

Best players left undrafted?

Andrew Harrison (a PG that started on back to back final 4 teams which shows how deep our history is)
Sparks
Mintz
Briscoe

Also Kellen Grady was one I really considered off the bench with his shooting. Surprised he didn’t go.
