That’s a lie . I know for a fact that Russ decided on his own to decommit from UK because of of Craig’s “ slight “. And its completely understandable for a kid to be upset with someone that had “hurt his father’s feelings “.
It’s not a lie. He should have not tried to leverage his son’s decision on a school into a job. Craig should have stayed out of it and let Russ live his life. I never said who decided to decommit or why but clearly Craig was in the middle. It all turned out OK in the end, at least for Russ.

I know Craig pretty well . The ONLY thing Craig did was apply for the receivers coach position. He didn’t even get an interview and yes , his feelings were hurt about that . But he DID NOT try to influence Russ about his college decision. That was Russ alone . He didn’t want to play for someone he felt had disrespected his father. Would you ?

Truest thing you've ever posted.

We all get it right at least once, isn’t that the ole saying…

BREAKING 🚨 : Two professional athletes hospitalized in one week after sustaining hits to the chest with conditions that could have lead to possible death, with one requiring life saving measures by expertise medical staff providing CPR & usage of an AED on the field of play..

What a headline that would be...

What are the most common injuries and medical problems among football players?

Football is a contact sport. Orthopaedic injuries are common among football players, primarily to the knee, foot, ankle, shoulder, neck and back. There is also potential for injuries to different muscles of the body such as hamstrings, quads, calves and the abdominal musculatures that can lead to a sports hernia. Other injuries include concussions, pulmonary contusions, broken ribs, abdominal injuries, splenic lacerations and kidney injuries.

Look I don’t know what happened and I doubt you know exactly either. This was widely discussed at the time. I respect the Yeast family and their contributions to UK but this is their personal business and I don’t want to know any more about what was said to friends. It was an unfortunate situation and should be dropped.

I agree . It just gets under my skin when people try to act like Craig forced Russ to decommit . He didn’t. I know this . I’ve known the entire Yeast family most of my life . I went to school and played ball with several of them .

Please list all the people who have dropped dead on the playing field from the vaccine.

I'll wait. Maybe you'll get back to me in two weeks like your likely hero, Trump, with his taxes, healthcare plan and a million other ******** he thought of.

List all the cases of Commotio Cordis which required CPR with AED usage after 100 years of NFL football & millions of plays of brute force to the chest?

I’ll wait, but hurry up, the game is almost on! It shouldn’t take long!

I never said this. I only said Craig should have stayed away and let Russ live his life. I feel that way about every parent of an athlete, in fact, every parent should steer clear and let their kid do what they want. I wish them all well.

I am also trying to remember what area was affected most by Covid, and you know how a vaccine works, it gives you the virus. I was trying to remember, was it the Lungs?

And I am vaccinated! Edit: I was originally vaccinated & but currently not!!
The COVID-19 vaccine does NOT, nor could it posssibly, GIVE YOU the virus. As I understand it, the (Pfizer and Moderna) vaccine only triggers an immune response by introducing pieces of the virus spike proteins into your body. For certain, no live viruses are used. Where TF did you “learn” that the COVID-19 vaccines gave you the virus? Wherever it was, stop reading information from that source. It’s a BS source.

I am not sure what it does at this point, neither does the majority, but we definitely know what it doesn’t do!

I had a bruised sternum in high school. Hurt like a MF. I can't imagine how bad a bruised lung would hurt.
I had really bad cramps against East Hardin, too, and you know how cramps work. Cramps give you the virus. Basically, the same thing as what Hamlin had. 😆

As we are already this far down the rabbit hole, please enlighten us regarding what we definitely know “…it doesn’t do…” as you are the OP of this regrettable subthread.

1. It doesn’t / didn’t keep you from getting Covid as we were told
2. It doesn’t / didn’t keep you from spreading Covid as we were told
3. It doesn’t / didn’t keep you from getting sick as we were told
4. It doesn’t / didn't keep you from dying of Covid as we were told

That’s about all. I heard follow the science forever & now some reports & documentation are coming out, but we are told to ignore them 🤔

While it is true that you can still contract COVID-19, still spread it, still get sick, and still die from COVID-19 after being vaccinated, it is also true that, on average, you are a less effective spreader, you don't get as sick, and your chances of being hospitalized and dying from COVID are diminished by being vaccinated.

The outcomes that I cited above are proven. The evidence of those outcomes is readily available. https://www.yalemedicine.org/news/covid-19-vaccine-comparison

Yup. Enjoy the game, Rayban! Take care.

Edit: It's not much of a game as it turns out. I expected UGA to win big, but not this big. For me, it just goes to show you the extent to which Michigan failed to perform.

It’s very evident. Perhaps stay away from any medically related posts.

Thank You Doc, your advice is much appreciated & will be considered.

It is quite odd tho that we have two circumstances from receiving blunt force chest trauma resulting in shock wakes to the heart, two prime professional athletes hospitalized with conditions that could cause death, in the same week.

None in college football that I know of & none in over 100 years & over a million plays of contact to the chest, but here we are.

These are 2 very different injuries. Don’t say they both caused “shock waves “ to the heart.

One disrupted cardiac rhythm. The other contused (or bruised) the lungs. Pulmonary contusions are not unheard of in football. While a significant injury, this is no where near the same level of seriousness as Hamlin. Please do not imply they are related. Can we please stop the conspiracies here? I beg you 🙏🙏🙏

Yes they do.. A blow to the chest is a blow to the chest.. It’s forcible contact & it sends shock waves, they wear shoulder pads for a reason..

Commotio Cordis is nothing more than a hard hit to the chest..

Pulomonary Contusion is caused the same way.. It is a force like Commotio cordis, It usually results from blunt chest trauma, shock waves associated with penetrating chest injury, or explosion injuries. These injuries can lead to pulmonary failure and death

Interesting fact. Jason Whitlock is the first person i ever blocked/muted on Twitter. Even went as far as to mute the words “Jason Whitlock” so I never even had to see his name. That was five years ago, don’t remember what he done to piss me off that much. But I can’t stand the guy

Nothing wrong with that Brother! We all different 👍

What do you suggest? No tackling? Perhaps we move to flag football? 2 hand touch?

You act like these injuries never happened before this week. Pulmonary contusions happen. Rib injuries happen. Not uncommon

Commotio cordis is VERY RARE. This is the outlier. Please please stop all the nonsense.

Just another young healthy 21 year old offensive lineman with what appears to be a cardiac arrest 🤔
