You must know Craig personally? If not, you know nothing and anything is possible.

Yeast clearly isn't some UK fan that hates all things Louisville.

Things like "Legacy" and being a vocal supporter or whatever doesn't mean anything when kids want to go somewhere where A.) They win and B.) The coaching staff isn't questioned as being inept and dysfunctional.

Start paying attention. It is how college football works.

Maybe its time for a change, join the cheaters if that is all that matters to you.

LOL, You're one of the worst posters on this board. Maybe it's time for a change and you'll stop acting like a moron, but probably not. Someone like yourself questioning someone else's fan hood is laughable. You're nothing but a childish internet troll. No one takes you seriously, and shouldn't.

Now respond with some idiotic stuff about striking a nerve and blah blah blah... Grow up.

Can we just see what the guy does and trust the staff?

There are going to be a million athletes out there who can comparably play receiver. I want him here, too, but if he chooses something else I will do what I do with other recruits and just wipe the fact he exists off my head. He won't matter anymore

But here's hoping he sticks

I do not agree with the idea of him going to visit UofL, but its his life and not mine. Its obvious the fans really want Russ at UK. The Yeast's are UK family and football royalty, but this program is at a point where it has to start showing improvement on the field and Stoops is at a critical juncture of his tenure. I love Craig and all he did for UK, but I want wins. Not saying to piss off former UK players and families, but its time to start winning and not worry about hurting someone's feelings.

If Russ wants to go to UofL and UK replaces him with someone as good or better then move on and win games. Craig just has to realize (fair or not) he is put on a different pedestal in the eyes of the UK football fanbase and its just not a good look on his legacy in the eyes of a lot of the fans if his son where to decommit and go to UK's most hated rival. I can't speak for the UK staff, but they have to be in a position where they gave Craig's son a scholarship. Not sure what else they expect. At some point, the staff has to concentrate on getting this program turned around and not trying to cater former players and their kids at every turn. If the parent and/or kid is not happy then its time to move on and find the next option.

All that said, I think this is all a mute point because Russ has stated he is not going to decommit. I am sure this has taken the family back a bit, but if anything, it should show them how passionate this fanbase is about Craig, his legacy, and the prospect of his son playing for UK. In a weird way, the backlash should be taken as a compliment.

Why would Craig send his son to ul??? Honestly, half their FB team gets arrested every year. I really don't think there is a chance he wants his child to be surrounded by all the convicts and bad influences. He has to know the arrest numbers and there is no way I would want my child surrounded by those influences..

I wonder if someone is leaking this just to get a response from UK. UK has the WR position open maybe they feel that they may reach out to father and offer him a coaching position. I have no inside information but just curious why it would come out now. I also think it would a huge misstep to hire Yeast as our WR coach, I think there are more qualified coaches out there.

The Yeast name is iconic at UK and in SEC record books. His dad is a Cat forever. Russ was loved here before we knew he was a baller. I want the best for him and will wish him well wherever he plays.

Who cares that he "wanted to go to Louisville".

The fact is he didn't and is a UK legacy that has been a very vocal supporter of Kentucky football for years and years.

He isn't sending his son to A.) Louisville, and to B.) play for Bobby Petrino.

UK will soon hire a hot shot WR coach and all of this will be mute.

Start paying attention. It is how recruiting works.

Oops. Fill me in some more on how recruiting works.Guess I wasn't paying attention.
