Many of their fans don't get it. It appears as if RU thought Dec 6 would be a go but instead SHU scheduled Penn State right after they fired their coach and the team was picked near the Bottom of the BIG 10. They wanted to play at PSU with no fans and wanted a return game next Dec at SHU with hopefully a good crowd. They wanted the better chance of a W over a BIG 10 team.
They also want the possibility of a game in January or February when they would only have 15 conference games in 9 weeks with most likely having 3 weeks with only one game. We should have 18 conference games over those 9 weeks and 2 every week. Personally I think Politi in this case is correct.

if the game was scheduled at RU this year, I bet we would honor that and they would show up to play. typical slimy hall. it's what Pikell said, we look forward to playing shoe at the RAC in '21-22 season. they forfeit their home game if they duck us. they are not an NCAA team. they can enjoy being one of the 9 dwarfs in Nova's league.
