Rutgers vs Purdue / Game Thread

[ntlrock1]

Nice shutdown inning Defense.

Didn't see this coming lemme tell ya.........

[drewbagel423]

******* nobody tries to wrap up. They all dive at the runner's legs

[Scarlet_Scourge]

Bend don't break!!!

[ntlrock1]

lol how do you drop that...my goodness, an offense absolutely worse than ours!

[hbbsm713_rivals]

Like someone said earlier on here, bend but don’t break

[Scarlet_Scourge]

14-6 Rutgers

[tychicus.]

i’ll take it

[mikershoein]

Crud

[ruready4somefootball_rivals]

I'm about to head out, this team is not worth it. Can't even make an easy tackle.

The Mush has left the building, things should take a turn for the better now!

[ru75]

if they stop dropping the ball......

[RC85]

******* nobody tries to wrap up. They all dive at the runner's legs

it's awful

[Rufaninga]

Ok not awful, got out with just a field goal. Want more than 8 or lead.

Can O keep chains moving?

Come on Grant work some return Magic!

[theRU]

at least they didnt break

[mikershoein]

Matt Millen is a tool

[RUfromNJ]

3 straight runs huh?

[ntlrock1]

Predictable :zzz::zzz::zzz:

[hbbsm713_rivals]

3 runs...

[ru75]

awesome Kill, just awesome

[R U Crazy]

Took my dog for a walk at 7-3 (listened to game on phone) and came back at 14-6. I need to take dog out in 4th quarter.

[RU31trap]

Rutgers is outplaying Purdue on both sides of the ball.

[ClassOf02v.2]

Man 8 yards on first down and then backwards. That cannot happen.

[NickRU714]

Is Kill just screwing with us?

We ran the same play on 1st and 2nd out of the dam power I. Then ran again 3rd.

Last drive we started throwing and we scored a TD.

[motorb54]

Wouldn't second down and one to go be the perfect spot for play action?

[RutgersRaRa]

3 runs...

Not just any runs, slow-developing runs, presumably to give our line a chance to create a hole against 8 in the box.

[RUeric]

Cole got absolutely blown up on that 3rd down. Wrecked the whole play.

[RutgersRaRa]

Wouldn't second down and one to go be the perfect spot for play action?

Why would we do that when our passing game has been working this half? Gotta go away from what's working to catch the defense off balance and run right into them. Thank God for our defense.

[tychicus.]

let’s get a turnova here

[ntlrock1]

Alright big Wilk

[NickRU714]

Someone tell me all those arguments from tjis week how we "have to run to control the clock and keep the defense fresh"

[rutgersguy1_rivals]

Took my dog for a walk at 7-3 (listened to game on phone) and came back at 14-6. I need to take dog out in 4th quarter.

......of every game.

[mikershoein]

Defense is correcting itself

[RC85]

Not just any runs, slow-developing runs, presumably to give our line a chance to create a hole against 8 in the box.

I hope we don't look back at that terrible play calling series and....

[RutgersRaRa]

Nash with penetration. Sometimes this IS as good as sex.

[Scarlet_Scourge]

DEFENSE!!!!!!

[RC85]

Defense is correcting itself

Might have been the best D series we've played all year. Needed it after that last crap on O.

[RutgersRaRa]

The ball bounced our way!

[mikershoein]

Wow, what a series of events for a punt return

[hbbsm713_rivals]

Please mix it up here

[R U Crazy]

Question
When is the last time RU had an overtime game?

[ru75]
