Do people really think Rutgers isn't going to be playing with a chip on their shoulder?

This is when Rutgers plays its best

Expect a dominate blow out win. Give the points game 1

I’ll be at the home game(s). Hopefully they can win it and use it as motivation for next year. Good learning opportunity

Not sure. They may also be not get up for the tourney or its smaller school opponents.

Most of "experts" just looking for internet clicks for $$$. There are no basketball prediction experts. Learn the game.
Yes sorry forgot 100+ experts all concluded that by putting Rutgers “in” when they really were not was the game.

This Rutgers team is the biggest snub in NCAA history

There has never been a team with a higher percentage of being predicted in on bracket matrix and not gotten a bid

This kind of screw job is different than UNC who was pre season #1 underachieving and had no shot

Put yourself in their shoes. I would want blood. I would want to destroy every team in my way to the title to prove the committee blew it

yet you and a few other asshats will be here the next two weeks posting about it and other stuff
I was just about to post that someone should make a list of these replies so we can compare to the game thread etc.

I would be there first round if I wasn't flying to Florida but I will be wearing my RU shirts.. and I will 100% there round 2 if they are in it and home.

If the guys want to play I'll support them. I still believe they got screwed and I'm not ditching them cause the committee fv@cked them.

I wouldn’t say horrific. He did whiff a bit . But it’s not easy . Yeah , he should acknowledge
I don't think any mea culpas are called for here.
His research and conclusions were pretty solid.
Some of the decisions reached by the committee are suspect at best. Nobody can predict decisions that are not based on equal data, behind closed doors and with no clear criteria.
Could throw darts @ a board for the last ten teams. Seems like the committee did.

after playing in 2 NCAA tournaments, why would Caleb be interested in competing for a stellar, prestigious NIT CHAMPIONS Banner at the RAC?
On the other hand, if Caleb does want to play, shouldn't we support him and the team until they have to stop playing. Plus, did I read somewhere that Caleb came up short by one for the RU record for steals?? We should hope he gets the record if he wants it! GO RU!

It's not the biggest snub in college basketball history. You are ridiculous. Probably time to leave the bar.

Not saying I disagree with you, but can you provide examples of larger snubs?

Or are you just acting like that’s a ridiculous statement because you personally think it’s a ridiculous statement?

Because of what Scangg said is true (highest percentage of “ins” to not make it) then it’s really not crazy far fetched to say it’s the largest snub?

At least in the conversation of one of the largest snubs, surely.

Just like everybody else on here, I am beyond disappointed we're not in the NCAA's. -In fact, I'm more down than I probably should be. I mean, it IS only a game after all, but as a fan, when you hope something really good is going to happen and it doesn't, well, I guess feeling like this comes with the territory.

That said, also like everybody else on here, I have no idea what was said between Pike and the rest of the team after they found out they weren't going to the Big Dance. But I have to believe there must have been a discussion between coach and the players, (even if that wasn't stated publicly), to gauge how the team felt about playing in the NIT, since I'm sure Pike wouldn't ram something down the team's throat he knew they were totally dead set against. -And since RU accepted the invitation, I have to think that it was a team decision, (i.e., coach and players).

As such, even though I didn't want any, (and I mean ANY), part of the NIT, and even though I absolutely believe we deserved to be in the NCAA's, I'll still watch and support RU, and hope the majority of Rutgers Nation will, as well. -Simply my opinion, of course, but these guys honestly deserve no less.
