Is now in sole possession of 8th place in the BIG, at 4-6 and now 11-9 overall. Haven't lost since they lost to us. Exhibit A as too why you never give up even when things are going terribly (this is the same team that lost to Fordham and appear to be en route to another lol season)

Nothing could be finer than Archie Miller and his trailer trash wife on a 7 game losing streak.....

Nebraska losing Copeland for the season puts their NCAA hopes in jeopardy as well. And Ohio State is 1-6 in January. BIG is brutal this year and 20-game schedule makes it even more so. Lots of parity below the elite teams.

What helps to the BIG is the league performed well outside the non-conference. The committee is going to factor that in when selecting teams.

I saw that after I posted this. Schedules will indeed be a factor the rest of the way as well. Minny, for example, is 6-4, but everyone would be shocked if the even go 4-6 in the second half with their remaining schedule.

It's the fashion to beat up on Rutgers, but they could have a decent program down the road. Pike is a good coach, his recruiting is picking up some, and they have fertile basketball recruiting grounds with areas such as NYC, North Jersey, Philly metro area, Baltimore and D.C. within easy drive. They'll be good in BB much before they are in football.

Agreed. Though I recall you insisted to me they were a far worse team than Illinois because of that loss to Fordham!

Interestingly enough it looks like PSU might surpass both (or the opposite) for the dubious distinction of worst team in the conference.

out of curiosity, what do you think the rough odds of them going 10-10 (or better) are? IE 4-6 the rest of the way. I agree their remaining 2H schedule is quite tough, but they are playing solid ball right now.
