Do the rules allow that …jumping from one school to another midseason and being immediately eligible?

Accounts connected with a gambling ring that is under federal investigation for its participation in two NBA betting cases were also tied to "unusual wagering activity" on North Carolina A&T, Mississippi Valley State and Eastern Michigan last season. North Carolina A&T suspended three basketball players -- including the top two scorers on the season (Landon Glasper and Ryan Forrest) for "violating team rules" last January, but Glasper told CBS Sports that he "never gambled." Glasper transferred to Southern Miss last spring, while Forrest is still in the transfer portal.

I just googled him and up popped a link discussing him being suspended for suspected involvement in a gambling/game fixing scheme.

I figured there was a reason he wasn't playing anywhere. Unless he has been completely cleared already, then I have my doubts on this one.

Dude's a volume scorer with terrible shooting and assist numbers. Sure, he might take a lot of end of shot clock shots on a bad team, but he misses lots of all shot types.

Best shot at finding a kid. Illinois is also bringing in a mid season international player.
Maybe one of these guys could be an option??? At least there would be familiarity with the team and possibly the process of getting them eligible...they are all listed as Point Guards for Mega Superbet (Jelavic's team).

Pope was asked about this and said UK is not shopping to add anyone. Said he is confident Lowe will be ok and in the event he is not we will replace with a couple other options on the team. Article is on KSR.
