Junior Day is essentially a "meet and greet", an unofficial visit paid for by the player/parents and is a "get to know" type of thing. Players meet the HC/position coach, tour facilities, meet current players and academic advisors. There's no workouts, camp, try out type thing. Think of it as a first date with your girlfriend
