I wish he had a better vertical, but does a really nice job with what he’s got.
Yep. He goes for 25 and 4* Kopp is shut out. Something to be said for work ethic and attitude.I wish he had a better vertical, but does a really nice job with what he’s got.

kopp is getting over a serious illness
Not at all. Just saying that even low 3* can have success if he works at it.are you saying Kopp doesn’t have a good work ethic or attitude? He was a star against a much better opponent in BC.

10 words that pretty much describe Ryan Young.
Even though he was greatly helped by facing opposition that was 6'7 tops, he showed some move. A fast spin move and a particular basket I liked where he jumps away, to the right of the defender, giving himself enough space to not worry about being blocked.
He has a high basketball IQ. I can see him develop some moves that work for him against proper bigs in conference play.
My bad.then why mention Kopp in same sentence? Came across as a dig at him.
Finally, I agree with you but please dont piss on this kids great game? And being 6-10 against a team without any kind of bigs.

Mr Negativity. You need "serious work".
Whoa. I guess we can't expect to go through a season without a serious injury to derail a key player. #NUhoops #WeCantHaveNiceThings
He has been pretty solid. Seems to be in the right place and his footwork seems to be excellent. No one really expected much but he has been pretty steadyAnd being 6-10 against a team without any kind of bigs.
Yes, yes they areCan't resist. Big Ten bugs are definitely a different beast!
Now if he could hit his FTsAnd being 6-10 against a team without any kind of bigs.

Depends on your expectations. Honestly, as odd as this sounds, you can make a case that he is NU’s MVP so far. He basically, doesn’t have a back up until Jones gets his sea legs. He is the only consistent inside presence and the NU offense looks way better when he is in the game. Young is exceeding expectation by a mile. If you want to worry, I can suggest about 5 other guys that need to step it up.I worry about him in big ten play. He does a lot with what he has, agreed but big ten bugs are a different beast.

Ryan looks smooth near the basket. Decent touch. He tries to set screens and seems steady when he touches the ball which means he can help against traps and inbounds. For a RS FY he is doing great.
