Fowler has missed again. They can't get over the hump. 2 and 2 might be the best we can hope for this round.

Can't afford another rout in 4 ball.

Phil leaving that putt 8 feet short probably ensures a loss in that match. 2-2 wouldn't be too bad in foursomes, surely the U.S. plays much better in fourballs today. They need a cushion heading into tomorrow though since you know the Euros will be rolling in bomb after bomb.

I'd love to see Reed matched up with McIroy this afternoon or tomorrow. That'd be some must-see TV.

A couple of these Euro rookies are going to be this era's Ian Poulters...never going to win **** on Tour, but they'll be a thorn in the Americans' *** in Ryder Cups for the next 20 years.

Spieth and Reed better get an entire point or we will lose.

How Spieth's putt didn't go in is beyond me. If the Euros get a full point out of that match I think they'll win the Cup.

4 up after 11 holes. Man

Reed needs a great shot and Speith a decent look. But you know Sergio is going to put it close. Little Spanish bastard.

**** like this makes me want to just turn it off and say f*ck the entire thing. The American team INFURIATES me, and has for 20 GOD DAMN YEARS.

Reed and Spieth are shellshocked and Phil and Koepka will probably be rifling it all over the course. Hope it doesn't get too ugly this afternoon.

Unbelievable how the last match turned out. Should have been such an easy walk in for the U.S. 1/2 better than 0.

I have less problem with Phil playing than I do Holmes. But Snedeker should be on sonebody's team.

Went for a run in between sessions because I thought it was a lock for 2-2 this am. First look at TV I see Spieth and Reed. First thought was it was the afternoon match, WTF????

Thought that match was over and a gimme since the 4th hole. That's horrid.

Not a chance in hell we go 3-1 this afternoon. I'd be happy to be tied going into tomorrow. We are traditionally better at singles play, so being tied would be a small victory.

Yeah, you would think with 6 rookies in a tough environment we have the advantage tomorrow.

And here we go, Europe continues to drop 25-40 foot bombs.

I expect the Euro rookies to play lights-out tomorrow. Hopefully DLIII will fire up the ping pong table tonight, maybe get a big tourney going with Tiger, Kuch, Lehman, Furyk...that'll really get everyone AMPED UP and ready to play tomorrow.

God we make nothing and Europe continues to chip in and pour in 25 footers. I get so damn angry watching this.

I feel pretty confident in saying this is the best Pieters has ever played in his life.

JB putting his *** off and needs every one. Euros burying everything.

And Peters hits bomb for eagle on part 4. Crushing Johnson. On cue.
