Per the other site. I think it’s a set rotation unless something crazy happens
Unless Jasper/Colin leave or Oweh goes to NBAPer the other site. I think it’s a set rotation unless something crazy happens
Probably going to the league is what has been saidI am still hoping for Sarr.
I think if Oweh returns, we are preseason #3If Oweh comes back are we preseason #1?
Lotta nice parts.Per the other site. I think it’s a set rotation unless something crazy happens
No one’s leaving good grief. Jasper may be the starter by the time the season starts. Aberdeen gives us proven depth and a guy who may be best off the bench for Lowe or at the 2g. He may be able to start at the 2 but Jasper and chandler will give him a run. He’s no different than having Lewis and they were fine with that so chill with this stuff.Unless Jasper/Colin leave or Oweh goes to NBA
I love the way Pope has built this roster. Last year I don't think he had enough time to do more than say "OK, who fits my system that I can get?" So we got a lot of off-ball catch and shoot guys. But they weren't necessarily very athletic, very tough, very good defensively. Except Butler of course, to whom I pledge my unadulterated love and support. Don't misunderstand, love the '24 team, but they had limitations. This time Pope seems to taking into account what it takes to compete in the SEC. So, a lot more athletes, lot more get to the rim, lot more toughness and defense. In particular, I love the additions of Mo D and Aberdeen - those are the guys you need to compete and win at a high level (whatever their personal stats, shooting percentages etc., might look like). Football promises to be something of a dump this year - can't wait for hoops to start......Per the other site. I think it’s a set rotation unless something crazy happens

Yep. Pope reloaded and improved, like I felt he would. Other teams losing some players and some big question marks out there, but the top teams to begin the year next year with the biggest bullseye will have a roster that looks like what we've got. We're s a solid top 5 team now any way you slice it, but we DO NEED Oweh back. He will be the key Dog on a team full of 'em. Can't deny that.I think if Oweh returns, we are preseason #3
Me too….but after losing Lewis I think the staff was concerned about ball-handling especially if Lowe has an injury. Griffin can drive but he isn’t a primary ball handler. Aberdeen is a primary level ball handler….he can backup PG when needed and he shoots it well. Perhaps not a well as Griffin but he has a more well rounded skill set overall.Hopefully this turns out to be the best outcome for what the team needs. I was getting on board with Griffin possibly joining, though.
There were definitely pros and cons for adding each, so I think you are right on this.Me too….but after losing Lewis I think the staff was concerned about ball-handling especially if Lowe has an injury. At least his coach won’t have him play football against us.He will no doubt score 30 on us when we play them.
I think Aberdeen is on the upswing and is poised for a big year. I love his championship pedigree and ability to play multiple spots. Griffen would have been a fine pickup and I do believe KU used him all wrong. That said he’s only had one good year really. Is he more the player of the other 2 years, or is his Sophomore year more like his actual game?I hope I am wrong on Griffen, but I was wanting him over Aberdeen. I think he can be a stud in the right system. KU did not use him effectively.
I do think Aberdeen fits better with what we have and what we need, but I wanted Griffen.
