Terrible at Kansas but good at Bama the season before. Good add if the bama side comes.
Yup. I think UK's style of play is much more similar to Alabama than Kansas. It is also all about fit and chemistry. That is something Kansas seemed to completely lack this season.
Agree with what some are saying, the odds of any star SG coming here are very low with how stacked we are. If the capability is there, take it. Need to stop worrying about numbers for now. We’re going to be really good either way plus some people are under valuing a returning Chandler and possibly Oweh

Me too. 11 points per game 40% from 3, 81% free throw shooter and starter on a final four team the year before last at Alabama. I don’t hold his numbers against him last year with the train wreck that Kansas was. Would be good in Pope’s offense.
Means when some combination of Johnson or Chandler blows up, we don’t have a big time pre-Madonna clogging up the rotation.
This would be a great add….hard to find shooters who play good D and have legit size….plus I trust the coaching staff. Mbako visited as a back up plan…IF things heat up with Sarr or a bigger name in the next 48 hours the staff has shown they won’t accept commitments if they need to wait on somebody else. But Bama level Griffin is an add every day.

This isn’t true. It seems to be the fashionable statement but pope nearly landed his top target for the 2g. There are a lot of players available now that werent in the portal last week. If we have to start chandler we’re gonna drop early games. Man I’m glad pope is the coach because he knows the value of a one seed. 80% of the time a 1 seed wins it all.

What about Henderson the SF decommitting from Duke ? Team doesn't look so stout. The Boozer twins can't do it ALL. Especially IF they lose Foster and / or Proctor. Only have the Boozers and Khamenia who is also a PF like Boozer.
Would everyone be OK with Henderson as a Cat ? Not likely, but you never know.

Griffen was very good at Bama. Is anyone surprised it’s the same few broken record posters acting like he’s chopped liver? I’d take this kid in a heartbeat… he’s made for this offense. He’s not Ian Jackson or Haggerty but he is a FIT. Trust in Pope!!!
