I’m not sure I would say that South was “dominated” - outside of the long run from scrimmage, Lexington didn’t mount much offense. South moved the ball all night but made some critical mistakes in the red zone, including a fumble at the 8 going in that led to a 92 yard scoop and score.
This led to a frantic Q4 comeback attempt that had South chasing points and on-side kicking. It was a great game to see and both teams played clean and with a lot of heart. Congratulations to Lexington - I hope they can turn it around!
It was great watching South play - Tripp and the coaching staff have them believing and excited - which is what the South program needs!
