Actually DOJ is "opening an inquiry" which is not an investigation, but a couple of rungs down the ladder.

Wouldn't be greatly concerned about this, sort of like the U.S. Senate "proposing" to hold a Congressional Hearing on the matter.

As to the NFL case, the Brady matter involves a collective bargaining agreement, a subject matter that can be litigated in U.S. District Court.
