Salem went into PH and did the same old crap they did at the beginning of the season.Trap and Counter, over and over. Salem deserved to lose this game!! Piss poor coaching on the offensive side of the ball. Hard to watch.

As dynamic as the offense has looked in the last 4 games. No adjustments at the half, came out and did the same thing. Shaking my head at this one.
Salem doesn't seem to have a plan b. If you can't run inside the tackles or pitch it to Lewis there doesn't seem to be another option. Eventually during the season or playoffs you run up against a team that has as much talent or more------the question that has to be asked---then what? Thought kids played hard,
Great point. I was talking to @mbonape1 and we were discussing the different contenders. He said the same thing. He expressed concerns about some teams who struggle to adjust when they are smacked in the mouth or struggle to do what they do best. Personally, I think Salem is mixing old school vs. new school and it's biting them at times. Realistically you guys have great athletes and speed. Your line is not the typical Salem "Mules", so why fight it. Quit beating your head against the wall and trust your athletes.
watching last night was exactly like watching someone beat their head against a wall. It was like Salem was scared to pass the ball. In todays football, you have to have some sort of passing game to open the run, or either have a crazy good line. Salem just don’t have that line. It’s easy for a team that has speed to stack the box. Salem was throwing right into PH glove!!
Looked like the same team that faced Martinsburg. Gotta trust the passing game too!
Embarrassing to rein in such a quality passing attack. Senior QB and that much speed with the receivers and you just pretend it doesn't exist?
All coaching staffs have their negatives, Salem's is that they believe their own press way too often and keep trying to pound square pegs into round holes thinking "we're Salem, it'll work out". This isn't last year where your choices for offense were 3-5 yards a clip from a fullback or hucking the ball up for a 50/50 to Chauncey Logan. When Pulaski stuffed the box and Salem couldn't scrape two yards together on the ground, they abandoned the rush ENTIRELY for the rest of the first half and just threw the ball all over the place to great success.
There's options this year, I don't know how the staff pretends there isn't. And involve the TEs for Christ's sake, you've got two kids with size and hands. Develop the intermediate passing game.

Well said sir! Too many weapons and talent. Why try to win a drag race in a semi when you have a Corvette at your disposal. Can't argue past success, but let horses out of the barn please.
