don't know if people are aware that freshman sensation QB for Wake (Sam)...has a father (Dr. Mark Hartman) who was an all conference QB at Reidsville during 1978 season...Mark had a great arm that rarely got used during Reidsville Wishbone days...He was a 2 year starter for Rams....Good genes........

Small world. During the 1970s and 1980s Mark's father Bob (Sam's grandfather) was one of my regular tennis doubles partner in Reidsville.
Both Bob and Mark were great athletes.
Doubtful few remember Bob or the guys we played on a regular basis - Lucius Johnson and Dr. John Reynolds.
Mark had a great career at Davidson.
