Except you can't do that because the start is a huge part of the equation. You don't run nearly as fast in that first 5 yards as you do for the rest of the 55 yards so in converting you can't strictly take a percentage of the 55 yards to determine the 40 time. I don't know of any scientific formula to accurately extrapolate the 40 time from a 55 time.

Here come Dubs general guess assertions that will turn into "I told you sos" throughout the future. He's a treat.
If you had been paying attention for the past decade or so, you would know that Dubs is one of the few posters on here who has information not readily accessed by most of the rest of us. I'm lazy and am not plugged in to the network in Lincoln like his is so it's nice to have him dropping things he hears on this board. It's like the office water cooler for me only his info over the past decade has been WAY more accurate than the average.

I have not found one and unlike longer distances, the start is decisive for the short dashes. But I think we will all concede that he is very fast.

He joined in 2016

....also, he may have some contacts who knows but 95% of his "inside info" is off the wire or educated guesses as a previous poster noted.

His current username was created in 2016. He has been around for years as one or two other usernames.

Agree. But he flies like a leaf in the wind. From pro-Pelini, to Peelini basher, to pro-Riley, now all aboard the Frost Train.

At least we got it right, in the end.

Yeah, that is true but the first step can be a game changer

Interesting, I didn't know Martinez had torn his labrum. Lot of labrum discussion out here lately with the Bears shutting down Kyle long for the year.

Somebody said on the radio it's basically like a meniscus tear in your knee, that you can get it operated on but it's never truly back to being good as new.

Life comes with a risk of injury. Sounds like they're gonna flip some good guys who were warm on them at UCF. I have a feeling when they see the NU facilities their eyes are gonna bug out.

Getting an RB who can excel at zone running is going to be crucial. Just a killer that Bryant's knees are so bad, he would have been an absolute monster in Frost's offense with his vision. And I guess teaching some OL to throw some damn blocks. If I were the OL coach I'd put on some film for them and be like, "If you think that kind of effort is gonna get your playing time on my line, I'll help you pack right now."

Our current backs will look a lot better once we teach the o-line who and how to block. Our current backs are not that bad.

No, they're not. It doesn't play to Ozigbo's strength, he's best as a downhill runner who can have predetermined gap and run behind his pads. Dunno about Wilbon.

WTF ever happened to Mazour? He just another Spring Game wonder?

I don’t see Oz fitting too well in most cases but Bradley should do well and he was actually a UCF target at one point if I’m not mistaking.

Got injured again was what I heard but just another example of Riley telling us what we wanted to hear IMO. There have been other guys he's listed (he compared him to Woodhead for heaven's sake) who we never end up seeing on game day. Boe Wilson supposedly was close to getting a start his true freshman year.

I have no idea what to believe about any OL player any more. How you recruit 3* and 4* kids, coach OL your whole life, and then have line play that bad is totally beyond me.

Oz can be a good goaline zone run back who can power it in from short distance. He is not the burner we need to be an every down back.

You don't even have to be a burner, it's that he's just not very sudden. I love the power he runs with and the effort. You need some of that Rex/Ameer thing where they're not the fastest RBs you ever saw but their change of direction and acceleration are excellent. A zone scheme asks you to be able to hit a lot of cutbacks, to change direction suddenly.

They see the cut and BAM. It's not often you get a situation in football where all-out sprinting speed is the difference in a play.

I accept that challenge.

Name the current Husker coach who didn't pass his background check & Bounds had to get involved so he could be hired.

Name the 3 players that failed drug tests last week.

Name the 2 AD Admins that were released of their duties, effective December 31, 2017.

I wait patiently for your responses and further scoops on the program.

Too easy:
Scott Frost (someone called his parents... Scott tossed the body in the Everglades)
Tanner Lee, Tristan Gebbia and POB (took peyote for a QB vision quest)
Bill Moos and Matt Davison (both have reached the pinnacle of what they can do for NU)

How do we know you know?

Simple I was the guy who called Scott's parents and was subsequently tossed into the Everglades, whilst trekking out I met a retired teacher that had had enough of the "PC ********" and sold me some peyote. Once I got back I was hanging out on a high school 50 yard line before the party at the Moon Tower (full kegs) where three Nebraska quarterbacks came up to me and asked if I could help "guide" them. Next I ran into my best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend who heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Moos and Davison turning in their resignation first hand.

... bulletproof!
