Union VS West Bladen
Union is 2-1 and full of bright young talent. The RB #1 is a stud and I am excited to see him the next couple of years the kid is going to be a nightmare. With blowouts vs Lejuene and Spring creek the spartans are proving they can take care of business but don't let Wests 1-3 record fool you. I expect this one to be a dog fight honestly..... I am stuck on this one but I will go with the Spartans.

Lakewood VS North Duplin
Lakewood won last week but that was not a very good showing for them. Not blowing out Fairmont is concerning to me at the end of the day and must be taken into account. The Lakewood passing game has been mediocre all year and I don't think they have a rhyme or reason to why they pass when they do. I consider this a must win for them or the moral of the team will be heavily impacted. North Duplin is good at what they do and at the end of the day I think they dominate Friday night. It helps when you have a D1 commit on your side also.

Hobbton VS East Columbus
Hobbton is rolling and I don't see them stopping anytime soon. The gators of East Columbus get walloped on Friday.

Clinton VS Whiteville
Not many in the community expected the results of last Fridays game vs East Bladen it came to a shock for us all. I would love to be a fly on the wall in that Clinton program. The only way to salvage this season for the dark horses is for the coaches to have some tough and honest conversations and ask each other what can WE do better? I don't see that happening because I think one man has too much pride involved to admit he needs to take different approaches. I hate to be that guy but I must be honest. I hope the Horses can turn it around and I am going to be positive and say they do. In the conference maybe the get on a little roll.... but with that being said they will be getting ROLLED over for 4 quarters this week but them boys from Whiteville. Expect Whiteville in the East Regionals with JK or North Eastern.

Midway VS Princeton
The Raider offense sputtered big time last Friday vs South. The fast and big 6A Trojans overwhelmed them at times getting many redzone stops. I don't expect the Raiders to be kept out the endzone for long though. The Raider defense arrived Friday night and seemed to really be clicking, they only allowed one TD and it was blown coverage along with horrible field position after a fumbled kick return. Losing sometimes awakens a team and keeps them level headed and I am going to say thats what happens with these Raiders. The bulldogs are good at what they do with that offense it produces against everyone. I expect this to be a fun game to watch and both teams have some great athletes to watch. I have to go with the Raiders on this one I see them bouncing back.
