Hobbton vs Union
Hobbton has been rolling lately and that train does not stop tonight. Union does not have the guys to handle the wildcat run attack and the Hobbton defense has the bodies to stuff Union at the line of scrimmage.
Hobbton 48-12
Clinton vs Pender
Feels like forever ago that Clinton shocked everyone with the OT thriller win vs Whiteville. Pender has been on fire this year with a big win over WRH to top it off. This is a tricky prediction because I have no clue which Clinton team will show up.... the team that got DOMINATED by the Midway Raiders or the team that showed heart and grit to knock down Whiteville? If Clinton doesn't stand in their own way I think they have the upper edge because I can't see Pender stopping the passing attack. Pender will get theirs though on offense 100%.
Clinton 35-28
Midway vs James Kenan
This game has conference championship written all over it. For some reason Midway still isn't receiving any hype or recognition and maybe those kids and coaches are keeping note of that... I sure hope so. When Midway is clicking they are very impressive but can they click all 4 quarters? James Kenan and the double wing offense is a clustered human wrecking ball that leaves a cloud of smoke behind it and I am sure they are looking to chip away and chip away. The size from last years team has graduated but somehow they tigers seem to have gotten faster. One broken tackle and its a house call. I will say I don't think JK is expecting all too much from Midway so Midway could come in with the unexpected upper cut and catch the tigers off guard. I have to go with the eastern championship favorite until shown other wise.
James Kenan 42-21
