I thought a year ago Samson would end up leaving Iowa and end up at a school like ISU. He just wasn’t seeing any playing time.

We have the most talent in the pipeline we have ever had since the Ferentz era started. Samson has just struggled to find a position. Jenkins showed promise but was/is slotted behind one of the top centers in the country (former army all american) who is going to have the NFL decision to make after this season.
